I have tried to connect to VMK in Mozilla Firefox. It loads halfway and then I get this message...
Whoops, error!
Error occured, press 'OK'
to restart program
Sorry for the inconvenience...
And when I try to connect to VMK on IE, I only get a black screen and I can't get in at ALL!
I am in the EST time zone, so VMK should be OPEN! I have only one window open, I have reinstalled Macromedia Shockwave over and over again, and I have tried restarting the computer to no avail! Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I understand your pain. Try these steps and see if it does not work for you.
Uninstall shockwave from Control Panel add and remove programs.
You will have to go to macromedia to download the uninstaller program for Flash.
Then download onto your desktop the full version of shockwave at www.macromedia.com and also flash. Restart the computer. Install the new things you just downloaded.
Now if this will not work do this... goto www.directx.com and download the newest version of direct x which should be c.
Also, update (this may sound strange) your audio card. I just did this and it is working for me....
Let me know if this works...

I almost always run VMK with Firefox -- rarely do I run IE at any time anyway -- and I have no problems whatsoever. Runs like a top, unless of course THEY'RE having problems on their end.
I cannot, however, run VMK on Netscape. In that case I don't even get an error message; it simply will not load.
Unfortunately I can't give you any tips on how to get it to work for you. I can only say it's not Firefox itself. It must be a setting or an interaction on your machine that's killing you.

I get that message all the time on VMK, usually at the end or beginning of a game. So far I've never gotten any error messages trying to log on, but I'm constantly getting that same message in the game.

Great, now the loading thing isn't here at ALL! I have installed the latest version of DirectX and tomorrow, I will uninstall and reinstall Flash and Shockwave. Wish me luck. I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!

Hi all,
The OOPS error is not a shockwave error. No need to install and uninstall shockwave when you see this. It's usually a problem on our end.
