Actually, the contemporary, polynesian and grand floridian are all owned by disney I believe. You can ride the monorail independently through the above mentioned hotels. The Contemporary hotel is probably the most FAMOUS DISNEY OWNED theme park hotels... For its unique A-frame design, and the infamous feature of having the monorail going right through the middle of the resort; on your way to the Magic Kingdom park... Yea... Disney prides itself on that resort... BTW: The only resorts that are not owned by Disney on the Walt Disney World resort property are the (ironically named enough...) Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin resorts, and all of the Downtown Disney resort hotels... Contemporary Resort is the Deluxe resort located at the Seven Seas Lagoon Area and linked to the Magic Kingdom Monorail Line. |
