Nope, the Poly pin is gone now; I'm guessing a new pin every weekend day or something? Hmm...

And yeah, I like the look of it, very cool :D.

I wonder if its mislabeled, because that definitely doesn't look like the HKDL Hollywood Hotel.

Its supposed to look like this I thought:

I don't think they did, in NaviMap's link, look at the picture under Room Rates, the last pic. Then go back to page one of this thread, look at the VMK pic and compare.

Nope Every Friday they just changed it because it was a mistake of poly pin being there

The dominant color of HKDL's Hollywood hotel is mostly blue. If you hover over the "hotel" icon on the top left, then hover on "Disney's Hollywood Hotel" and you will see an aerial pick under the hotels hover menu. Doesn't look anything close to what's on the pin.

The architecture of the HKDL Hollywood Hotel is primarily based on the modern Art Deco style (very popular in the 1920s to the Depression era-you'll also see it applied to DCA's tower of terror) which is characterized by rounded edges, geometrical designs, stripes, and simplicity (over very ornate designs such as Victorian).

The picture shown on the new pin does not reflect any Art Deco style architecture and has hardly any blue. Plus, there are small spires on the top, something not a feature of the Art Deco architecture. It actually looks alot closer to Tokyo Disney Sea's Hotel MiraCosta pictured below:

Wow, good sleuthing, Navimap. I'm convinced that what we have is the MiraCosta Hotel. I believe this pin seen in the newsletter,
http://img405.**************/img405/6923/hollywoodpin9pu.jpg
is the true Hollywood Hotel pin.

navimap, you are right. the miracosta's beautiful fountain is portrayed on the pin.

the other pin shown in this thread is clearly the Hollywood hotel as denoted by the classic hollywood car in the front, the blue color as already pointed out, and the tall hills in the background that can only be found in HKDL

when i saw this thread i thought you were refering to the tower of terror.
