What is a ride-a-thon? I don't go on VMK very often.

It's a ride set up by the Testers and Staff of VMK which you can ride, and automatically get a prize at the end.

A REAL VMK Shirt? That sounds awesome! I'd wear that every day! (Okay, maybe not, but still. :)) I think the main reason for this event is because of the feedback they got on the ride competition.

What is a ride-a-thon? I don't go on VMK very often.
It's where the VMK and testing staff open up their rooms and we ride an Everest ride they put together. In the last room before we go, they programed in a special message that gives us a prize just before we exit.

Basically, every time you ride, you get a prize.

I am quite excited, and a little on the middle of this event because it says you can get the everest chair and such, but that is a prize given to the winners of the event. I would have waited longer so that the winners could have it be more rare, since it seems more of a rare prize for the event, unless there is only a special way to win the everest chair in the event who knows ;)

I'm guessing they got a lot of angry feedback about the prizes over the last few days and this is their way of saying "we are sorry you spent 50K and only got a pin worth 50 credits." But that's me guessing.

I'm pretty sure that the Safari Room and Monkey King Chair is going to be Park Quest rewards, but who knows? They may surprise us with how they release that as well!

I saw many Peak Chairs During the First Ride-a-thons, and BOY did I want one. I was like: GIMME! I also saw some Other Everest Themed Furniture that We didn't see yet.

After you ride the ride 1 or so times. Every hour VMK will probably pick a random name who is playing and give them the shirt.

I believe I saw a post that Yavn said that chair was going to be gotten from riding Everest in WDW. I have decided that from now on, wait and see is the only way to anticipate anything VMK does.

But the first ride-a-thon you got something each time you went on the ride. But only 1 prize per person in the maze event. Looks like we'll have to wait and see which system they use for this Ride-a-Thon. Maybe 1 prize per person per ride (remember they had several rides last time.) At least this one will be open all day! And the ride queues tend to move fast.

Hopefully I'll be able to do the Ride-A-Thon from the Magic Kingdom. I'm leaving for Disney World. If someone could give me one of their extra chairs in case I'm not able to do the ride-a-thon in time, it would be much appreciated.

Arg! They're doing it again! First the Snow Rugs, then the Yeti Footprint, then the Grand pin, now this. You do notice that in this whole Everest thing, the only rare thing (so far) is the Safari Room and the Top Ten pin? And even then the room will most likely come back in the Adventureland Quest and the Top Ten will be given out over time.
