People have been trying to get this pin, it has been talked about in other threads.

I suggest that people who want the pin arrange to meet up to play the game together... because we've figured out you need at least six people playing at once, and only one of the people can do really bad. Everyone who meets can take turns doing poorly in the game to try to get kicked out at the end of round 4, and the rest will do well. This way there will be enough people playing. Besides, it will be fun!

Wow, that pin looks cool! Lemme double-check tomorrow to make sure I don't already have it. I've "never not" made it to Level 5 before, so from what I gather I must not have it yet. If that's the case, then count me in! We should make a list of all of the pins you have to win by losing. :)

I saw you online last night with that pin (before seeing this thread), but was too shy to ask you about it. I figured it was just a "in VMK person" kind of pin. But I really liked how it looked.

However, I am really not very good at the fireworks game (consistently score only ~160k). On the other hand, I'd be happy to be the LOSER every time, and then give the bronze pin to the people who actually have skill!

i actually got this pin the first time i played, LOL. i didn't really understand the game at the time cause i didn't read the instructions (yes befor eth jokes start i'll admit i am a typical man ;))

i think i was last or second to last and didnt make it to level 5 ther were like 8 people playing that game.


BTW i still havent been able to win this game i average about 175-180k, just can't seem to get higher. guess i get too many goods and awsomes and very few flawless's

I will be there. Any particular way to lose at round 4? In other words, do you need a certain score? I guess I will find out more tonight.

All right you bronze pin seekers, here is the plan.

1. Meet in the Castle Fireworks Lobby North-East promptly at 8:00 PDT.
2. Please be prepared to stay 30 minutes or so, so that everyone can get the pin.
3. We can all play at the same time. Everyone who does not yet have a bronze pin will score low. If you already have the pin, please try to get a high score.
4. As I said in a previous post, I think the person in 6th place after level 4 gets kicked out and gets the pin. So we should have one person getting the pin each game.
5. If you are still in the game in level 5, feel free to exit the game unless you really want the credits for finishing the game.
6. After each game, we'll count how many people have the pin. If there are more than 5, then some of you can leave because we only want a maximum of 5 people playing who have the pin. We'll then repeat steps 3 - 5.

Please let me know if you have any questions or better ideas. I hope to see lots of you there!

lol! I think it's the thrill of the hunt! Not many people have it, because although it is the lowest level pin, and most people have the silver and the gold, it's not easy to get. You'll learn something in this life my friend... people want what they cannot have!

But all kidding aside, it's worth nothing really in the VMK universe.
I like it because I want every single pin available, and I think it's one of the more attractive pins.

Yes! I got it! I lost a game! I'm sooo happy!

I just want to thank all the people who were actaully playing the game and trying their best. This award goes out to shiregirl for telling me that such a pin existed, Stormy, for winning the game and most of all, all of the other four players in the game, whom despite my score of 0, still continued onwards while fighting multiple laughing fits. I also want to thank the sloth for teaching the ways of not plaing the game. Yes, those curious animals helped me greatly! Finally, I want to thank myself for studying during that wasted time. Yes, had I not studied for my exam tommorow, I may have been truly doomed! Now I'm only half as doomed! Thank you Acadamy! Thank you very much!

Well, I think this event was a smashing success. Lots of people are now the proud owners of bronze fireworks pins!

With everything going on with my Orlando move in a week, I missed everything! I got there to see MrToad and Shiregirl before the last game and we didn't even get into the same game! Then halfway through the game the pop up box announced that it was 10 minutes to closing! Oh well. Hopefuly I can be a part of the festivities on tuesday night! Looking for more details...and maybe a few pins? LOL!I'm glad the the event went off as well as it did. It seems that there's a lot of happy VMK'ers tonight and that's great! Keep on VMK'in! :)

Hee hee. I had so much fun tonight. I met so many of you that I hadn't met before. It felt like a family reunion, and your second cousin's aunt came in and hugged you even though you never met her before and it was like instant love! (tear roles down cheek) OK, maybe I went too far... but still. :D

Thanks everyone who came out... I can't even say how many there were because people were helping each other in many different rooms. Some poeple heard about it from others and came and they had never visited the fan site! Thank you to MisterToad for keeping it together and selflessly letting others win and MrGenie and Lady and StarryNight and Infusion and ceburto and so many others for staying even after you got yours.

I was really disappointed in not being able to play, but if I had stayed up to play, that would have been 41 hours up straight with only 1-2 hours of sleep. (You can guess my profession...)

This event is going on now, if anyone wants to join us. I just wanted to post that the first game got me a new personal best score at Fireworks of 222205. Yay! :D

The only pin that concerns me now is the Gold pin, but thanks for the offer anyways. Anyhow, does anyone know how to get it? I'm getting conflicting reports and I want to put an end to this debate once and for all.

When I got the gold pin, I made 200,000 points, but I was in second place. From what I understand, you have to get over 200k points, but NOT be in first place.

Well, Tuesday's event wasn't quite as successful as Monday's -we had some difficulty getting everyone in the same game. However, I think 5 or 6 people had won their bronze pins by the time I had to leave - I was only able to stay for an hour and 45 minutes or so. Those of you who stayed longer, please fill us in on what happened after that. Thanks!

I got the bronze pin last night. Thanks everyone for helping! I also got the gold pin and free room after winning the bronze. lol It was a good night. :D

I wanted to thank everyone for their help last night in the pursuit of the bronze pin. I was having computer issues (kept disconnecting) so wasn't able to help as much as I'd hoped. Nor did I get the pin.

I did get it first try this evening, however. I think the modifications that put more people into the game helps. I was "high man" until I hit 4th level. Then I just stopped scoring. It was enough to boot me at the end of level 4 and I now have the bronze so there is hope.

It's pretty easy to get the bronze pin now. I got it today (finally!) on my first try. What I did was to play fairly well for the first 3 rounds, then not play at all in the 4th round. This should hopefully land you in 6th place after round 4. Good luck!

i am not even good enough to make it to round two now. :mad: :( letting more people play in a round means a real bad player who tries their hardest, like me, is sol. ggggrrrrrr!
