We've increased the rewards in most games and for February only, some are giving a little extra something in addition to credits. The Yeti is finally cool enough.

Everest Ride Competition

Join us this weekend as we review entries in the Everest Ride Competition.

All competition rides will be open to all Players during judging, between the following times:

Friday February 24, 2:30 - 8:30pm (Pacific)
Saturday February 25, 8:30am - 7:30pm (Pacific)
Sunday February 26, 8:30am - 7:30pm (Pacific)
To start a ride, look for rooms beginning with Base Camp and join the fun. Will you be able to ride them all?

Three favorite pieces of furniture, and why?
The blue flying carpet chairs -- I love the colors and they look so nice with the Tiki Fountain -- it's so re****l and relaxing; Herbie couches just because they are so adorable!

Favorite type of Guest Room?
My own favorite is the Mad Hatter's Tea Party room but when I wander around VMK, my favorite rooms are the ones of any style that show how creative our Players are. There are some truly awesome rooms out there.

Best VMK moment?
Right before the first event when the kids got to see Dancing Inferno for the first time. They were so excited and happy about such a cool magic pin that it made my night.

Favorite place to hang out in VMK?
I love going to Town Square and Central Plaza and just talking to the Players.

If you could wear a different outfit, what would it would be?
Jeans, sneakers, and a Mickey sweatshirt.

What one safety tip would you like to share with our readers?
Never give anyone your login information for any reason. Don't enter your login name and password into a form other than on a real Disney site.

Best Guest Rooms

MrCredible has a very cute game in VMK Hide and Seek. Players line up to enter hide and seek rooms. A friend of MrCredible's is hidden inside one of three rooms. Once you find him, click Trade, and get a prize.

Best Game Rooms

Pirate Race! Random Give Away! by forksrule is a fun "race up the chair" game. She gives the winner a prize and also gives out random door prizes.

ilikebenjen creates what may be one of the first ice skating rinks in VMK in Everest Great Ice Skate Race! Three players at a time start from their flying carpet chairs on one end of the rink and "skate" to the same color chairs on the other end. Don't be fooled; this is not as easy as it looks!

CL_Swordsman serves up a fun game in What's the Difference where the room is divided into what appears to be two identical halves. Look more closely and you will notice there are difference between the two sides.

Players who have been previously recognized for their design talents will receive the VIP award.

The pin comes the day after the day of the newsletter. I just got best guest room two weeks ago, I know.

When I won it, a long time ago, I got 3,000 credits, the BGR pin, and a Tent Room.

There have been many ice skating rinks before! Perhaps not one with a race, but I had one and dismantled it.

Just out of curiosity, does the new wording of the increased game prizes mean that only the ice blocks will be for February?
Does that mean that the credit increase is a permanent change?
I certainly hope so.

Thanks, schmoofy, for the news. And congrats to all the winners of the Best Room Awards. And I'll be going around to all the Everest rooms (all that I can get to). I'm not part of a team, don't have that many credits and need to save up but I'm looking foward to some that I've seen.
