I sort of think the firework game is impossible to get 240,000 points way to hard for me

You just have to keep practicing. After a week straight of playing that game, I finally got that pin. Yay!!! :D

well, ok, most of them are, but not all

i'm close to getting it... my highest score ever is like some 210,000 as opposed to the 190,000 i was getting before so practice practice practice... *feels like her middle school band teacher ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!*

i never got past 220,000 :-(

that is ok, it is easy for me to get over 200,000 but i still have yet to reach over 230,000

It tooks me forever to get to past 200,000 points. Then I realized the problem was with my keyboard, whenever I pressed the arrow keys to change fireworks, it never changed fast enough or I had to press the key twice, and by that time it was too late. Probably because it's a wireless keyboard so the transfer time isn't as fast as I needed. So i just used my laptop, and plugged a mouse into it, and now I think the highest score I've gotten (with days and days and days of practice) is just about 250,000.

So just keep working at it. :D

dont worry it took a month of none stop play for me to get it and that waz luck cuz i usually dont get that much what u should do iz watch this video (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3261&highlight=fireworks+movie) omg it helped me so much! i watched it and i went from getting 22000 to getting 24000 u can do it!!!!

I watched WDWTigger's video of fireworks, and it really did help me believe it was possible. It was crazy cool watching him score that many points on fireworks. Wow. :D

it is hard. that is why the pin is worth alot. i missed the goal by 2,000 points!

Just keep playing, you'll get there. I used to think it was pretty much impossible to get over 200k but now its impossible not to reach 260k.

I was having trouble getting above 217,000 points but I got a good mouse and updated the video drivers for my system. It made a BIG difference!

my highest score was probably 216,000 pts and practice every day saw WDWTigger's score and almost died :uglyhamme :pcpunch:

I guess I need to get a mouse for my laptop. My scores do keep improving, but so do everyone else's and I can't get past level 2 anymore, even if I have a personal high score. It's very frustrating, and I'm sure even more frustrating for the new people.

I wish there were standards, like after level 2 if you have at least, say 50,000, you can move on no matter how many people have higher scores.

Anyway, I've only gotten all the way thru twice, and for the past few days I can't get past level two and my scores at each level are actually better. With a laptop, I don't think there is much incentive for me to keep playing this game. it is truly frustrating.

I finally broke 240 last night but won the game and didn't win the pin. Then (thanks to QueenMum who kicked my but by the way) I broke 240 and came in second and won the pin. After you do it the first time it gets easier to break the score. Thanks again QueenMum, if you're here.

well after some practice I came in 2 and got 234,000 pts I am so close

Honestly, it's not. I thought the same thing, and everyone kept telling me to keep practicing. You will get better. So, as I sat there, day after day, playing fireworks whenever I could, getting a LITTLE bit better here and there, I doubted. Well let me tell you, FINALLY yesterday I did it! And to top it off, I won two pins! One for me, then played with my daughters character and won her a pin as well. So it is true... hang in there, keep playing and you will get there eventually. And if it takes longer than you want, just enjoy all the credits you are racking up. They'll come in handy when the new stuff is released! :)

:banghead: I got 241,000 but won the gameArg, I feel your pain...been there, done that. I talked to Yavn the other night and asked him specifically about this issue. He said they are aware of it and are working on a big fix. I hope they make it so you get the pin for scoring at least 240,000 regardless if you win or lose. Doesn't seem like that should be such a big fix, but maybe they are trying to retroactively give the pin to everyone who has scored that high to date. Don't get your hopes up though...I'm not trying to start a rumor. All I know is they are aware of the issue and are working on some sort of a fix. The only thing more frustrating than this to me was one game where I could have scored more than 240,000 points but I was just barely trying to get over 240,000 (to make it easier for someone to beat me so I could get the pin), and I accidentally stopped about 25 points short. There were still fireworks left on the screen during that grand finale barrage, but the animation was getting choppy and I kept clicking them just as they disappeared so I never managed to hit another firework. Sure enough, someone else scored high enough that I would have won the pin had I just clicked a single firework, but I must have missed about 10. Now that was frustrating. :)

That's great...it's a really good feeling to finally earn this pin after so much work, huh? This was my experience too. I thought it would be impossible for me at first, but after several weeks of practice I kept incrementally improving and I finally got there. For those of you with computer hardware issues (no mouse, low memory, slow processor, slow Internet connection, etc.), I'm not sure there is hope for you getting the pin (nothing personal :Tongue: ). But if you think your computer is adequate, I do believe the 240,000 plateau is achievable to just about anyone who's willing to put in the practice. Good luck!
