Cooler rewards all month in our games!
We've increased the rewards in most games and for February only, some are giving a little extra something in addition to credits. The Yeti is finally cool enough.

Everest Ride Competition
All registrations are in for the Everest Ride Competition. This team-based room design competition challenges Players to form an Expedition Party and build their version of the ride featured at www.disneyeverest.com.

All competition rides will be open to all Players during Judging, between the following times:

Friday, February 24, 2:30-8:30pm (Pacific)
Saturday, February 25, 8:30am-7:30pm (Pacific)
Sunday, February 26, 8:30am-7:30pm (Pacific)
To start a ride, look for rooms beginning with Base Camp and join the fun. Be sure to see them all!

Leota's crystal ball, the Haunted Mansion fireplace and the Haunted Mansion couch. What can I say? I'm a Haunted Mansion fan.

Favorite type of Guest Room?
Haunted Mansion, of course!

Best VMK moment? Every time I see someone helping a new member find what they're looking for or making friends with them - those make up all of my favorite moments in VMK.

Favorite place to hang out in VMK?
That would have to be the Haunted Mansion.

If you could wear a different outfit, what would it would be?
A green princess dress!

What one safety tip would you like to share with our readers?
While it might seem sometimes that the VMK staff are being mean when they keep you from talking about the personal details of your life (your age, location, school you go to, etc.) we are only trying to keep you safe. Please help us by following the VMK Values and reporting anyone that asks you for personal information or who makes you feel uneasy.

PirateWill makes an impressive new abode for our beloved Yeti in The Yeti's Throne Room .

The VMK not so hidden Mickey is a simple yet clever use of Ice Cube Chairs and crates. Well done, Alienoutlawz!

Neoteny combines Valentine's Day with Everest ride pieces to create this heart-shaped Tunnel of Hearts Ride.

We are seeing some very clever combinations of Everest ride pieces, Ice Cube Chairs and Expedition Everest rooms. A shining example is Everest Ice Castle Coaster Ride by Nikeyboy.

Be sure to check out the Everest Ride Competition later this month for hundreds of rooms loaded with creative ideas for ride construction.

Best Game Rooms

TreasureIsMe brings us a new take on a classic in Yeti's Dont get trap!, a fun game where the owner tries to trap Players with various pieces of furniture. Try to escape the barricades he creates, and watch out for falling doors!

Some Players get their inspiration from favorites, and then add something of their own. This holds true in Don't break the ice part to!! where DianaP combines a race game with a popular game offered by our VMK Hosts.

Players who have been previously recognized for their design talents will receive the VIP award.

I'm also pretty shocked about the prize for riding tomorrow. It pretty much blows The Yeti Quest's prizes out of the water.

Why do the Yeti Quest if you were going to get 10, 20, even 30 times that amount of prizes a week later? To give people something to do? :D
