love me im awesome 02-16-2006, 07:19 AM well it was annoying and it didnt just happen to me
cough at least i can see my avater :) LOL
NaviMap 02-16-2006, 09:33 AM Whether or not you are sent back to the lobby after game depends on how many people are playing the game and how much your score is after each level. The game says you may be playing with as many as 100 players (so there's not enough space to show all of them on that score list that pops up between levels). And because of the major increase in credits, the game has become very crowded once again.
After the first (fantasyland) level, around as much as 40% of the players get eliminated based on how low they rank in score compared to other players. The game usually eliminates the lowest scores until the number of players that advance to the last level (Park View) are around 4-7 players.
Reasons why they programmed the game to do that could be that the fact that they do give rewards for reaching the last level of the game and rewards depending how far you advance during the game.
Another possible/maybe reason is to save server space (and to prevent the game from crashing) since the last levels do have alot more fireworks than the first level, so only 4-7 people play the last level instead of having all of the nearly 100 people that may be playing at the start of the game.
JackeryB 02-16-2006, 10:39 AM it makes the game alot more difficult and only allows the best players to get credits, if everyone got 500+ credits every game it would make the fireworks game alot more crowded.
Jolber 02-16-2006, 11:50 AM with all those people the fireworks wont move and then i keep missing fireworks, also its so slow...
FantasyBlueBoy 02-16-2006, 12:13 PM Yeah sometimes a bug is When i try to move the thing on the bottom to switch a firework it gets stuck and I miss a firework.
I think Its better to get 4 goods then 2 Flawlesse's and 2 misses.
Schmoofy 02-16-2006, 12:14 PM with all those people the fireworks wont move and then i keep missing fireworks, also its so slow...
When the game is slwo, the stars at the end of the firework seem to last longer, being able to hit them easier. I love the game when it is slow like that.
FantasyBlueBoy 02-16-2006, 12:15 PM Yup I was in 5th place down by like 9000 from the person above me 12000 from the person in 1st I came along in 2nd which i was aiming for @_@. SInce that got slower I got more good at fireworks :D
ToyStoryFan 02-16-2006, 12:30 PM I don't get the fireworks. Like, one time I beat Level 1 and was in the group that advanced, it was only about 10 people, from 11 on they were out. But then after Level 2, I was eliminated, but the list of people that were moving had people not there the first time. Weird.
FantasyBlueBoy 02-16-2006, 12:36 PM Yeah they highered the limit of points. You need to get really good at fireeworks just keep practicing.

not by me its that sort of slow, when its moving they are gone already with 3-4 fireworks or something
ToyStoryFan 02-16-2006, 01:11 PM Yeah they highered the limit of points. You need to get really good at fireeworks just keep practicing.Yes, I understand that, but what I mean is like say after the first level, it shows say 15 people moving on. I would assume the others were eliminated, but then when the next level comes, on the next list, on the people moving on, there are lots of people not on the 15 list that was moving on in level 1, and I just wonder where did they come from?
NaviMap 02-16-2006, 06:39 PM Yeah they highered the limit of points. Not necessarily.
Aside from the new rewards, the fireworks game hasn't seen any major changes since the Haunted Mansion game.
The absolute maximum score is still 315,000 (i.e. 315 fireworks) but varying from game to game is the window of opportunity to score the full 1000 points on each firework.
This variation in the fireworks game seems to depend on how many people are playing the game. I can't confirm it 100% because I've seen the "impossible to score 1000 on a single firework" variation present itself in games where there were many players playing the game in level one.

I would assume the others were eliminated, but then when the next level comes, on the next list, on the people moving on, there are lots of people not on the 15 list that was moving on in level 1, and I just wonder where did they come from? How many people that move on in level one depends on the percentage of all the players playing in the game.
A single game can have the capacity of 100 players playing in level one. If about 40% of them were eliminated from level one, not all of the remaining players may appear on the list, only the top ones. But after some disconnections, mistakes by players on the level one top 15, and a good performance by those that didn't score so high in the first level, you might just see some names that weren't there in the score window after the Adventureland level.
A key to make an educated guess on how many players are playing in the game is to look at the range of scores after the first level. The narrower the score range, the more likelihood that there are many more players playing in the game.
love me im awesome 02-16-2006, 07:41 PM thx u guys for telling me :) but there is still 1 problem how am i suppossed to get better if i cant even play a full game i think they should have a new system for that. its just not fair enough :(
love me im awesome 02-16-2006, 10:07 PM bump bump ....
FantasyBlueBoy 02-16-2006, 10:41 PM Theres no reason to bump a thread like this that is only for trading or Guest rooms. You dont need to bump questions if there answered!
love me im awesome 02-16-2006, 10:45 PM but i want to know how to i can practice !
FantasyBlueBoy 02-16-2006, 11:11 PM Because if you get a lower score then the amount you get booted and return to the lobby you need a certain amount of points to move on.
love me im awesome 02-16-2006, 11:25 PM so that is how i have to practice??? that socks :(
NaviMap 02-18-2006, 02:24 AM Because if you get a lower score then the amount you get booted and return to the lobby you need a certain amount of points to move on.It depends how much you score is relative to all the other players playing the game. If your score reaches a certain percentile where you did better than most players then you will advance to the Adventureland round.
For example, if you score in the top half of all players after Adventureland, then there's a good chance you'll move on. However, if you are not in top six after Tomorrowland, there's a very good chance that you will be eliminated. And if you find yourself in the bottom two amongst the surviving players after Frontierland, then you will most likely be eliminated.
FantasyBlueBoy 02-18-2006, 12:27 PM Oh didn't know that thanks!!
Jolber 02-18-2006, 12:35 PM but i think they made fireworks easier now
love me im awesome 02-20-2006, 08:21 AM it does not seem like its easier bc i used to get to like 6 or 7 levle and now i cant even pass levle 1
NaviMap 02-20-2006, 08:28 AM it does not seem like its easier bc i used to get to like 6 or 7 levle and now i cant even pass levle 1I think he meant its more easier to hit the fireworks for the full 1000 pts because the window of opportunity when the firework is about to fade out is larger.
However, you're right in that its more harder to advance now that alot more players are now playing the game since the reward increases, which in turn has the game eliminate more players in the beginning rounds since its based off a percentage/percentile of total players in the game than a scoring milestone.
love me im awesome 02-20-2006, 08:42 AM yea i agree bc only the really good players can play and get credits [ or even just get to the next round ] and its not fair to others the reward has increased and only the very good players are getting the reward [ wich is fair ] but they should give the " not so good " like myself , ppl s fair chance as well
NaviMap 02-20-2006, 08:53 AM yea i agree bc only the really good players can play and get credits [ or even just get to the next round ] and its not fair to others the reward has increased and only the very good players are getting the reward [ wich is fair ] but they should give the " not so good " like myself , ppl s fair chance as wellThe rewards are kind of strange in that first place gets 900 credits but anyone not in first place but over 240000 gets 1900 credits.
aznviper06 02-20-2006, 08:56 AM it used to be 900 and two ice cubes..but they took away the ice cubes and they didn't fix it
NeonKnight 02-20-2006, 09:17 AM I am just sad I had two of my best starting games today where I was in 3rd place going into round 3, which almost never happens for me. I was dropped from both of those games, but I will try again. :)
I have also ended up out of the game before the first round ended. It was strange, but I just end up trying again. I keep getting a little better. I have finally earned the castle room. Next goal is to get the fireworks magic (fingers crossed).
See.low 02-20-2006, 09:31 AM And then there was the dreaded "sorry VMK has crashed" during almost every firework game I tried to play today!
The game just takes practice. The more you play (even if it is just the Fantasyland level) the better you get. Just like anything I suppose! :)
love me im awesome 02-20-2006, 09:58 AM i guess uhave a point see.low btw thx to all of u for the info :)
