This score actually takes near perfect timing and missing very very few fireworks (like around 5 for the entire game and no silly timing mistakes) and getting the many lucky chances of having simultaneous fireworks twinkle out in the same spot allowing for getting two with one click.

I saw that yesterday and congratulations, Navimap. You are an awesome player. I've always looked up to you playing this game. As you know this is the one game that I love and have gotten rather good at. You gave me a goal to achieve in playing. I always said if I made it past 270,000 it would be good. Then I wanted to surpass the 280,000. I have made it there numerous times. I know I have played against you and it seems that everytime we do play this game together I achieve a higher score than I usually do. You push me to do better. Now I have a larger goal to attain. Keep up the GREAT work and you are an inspiration to all of us.

Honestly, I don't know but there are a lot of people around here who do know. There was a big controversy over this a few months ago where the top 10 was filled with one or two people scoring something like 350k.

Congratulations NaviMap for finally hitting the 290,000 mark on fireworks...Yes, The game definitely has to setup in your favor and having two fireworks come together at the same time to get your flawless for both. There have been times I have definitely counted misses during these games, and figured out a score very close to 300,000 but the entire game for me has not come together. Congratulations!!!

Mr.Genie...I would say both yes and no to your question about them tweaking the fireworks and making it a little bit easier. Over time the vmk developers have definitely made the fireworks game a little easier with some tweaks here and there, but ultimately you really have to have the perfect game to get a score like NaviMap. This means three fireworks coming out and possibly crossing as the same point for flawless. Maybe having some fireworks that usually cross that would provide you a good and flawless hitting them together being seperated out a little bit so you can get two flawless. It really depends on the fireworks game and setup you get for your fireworks. Have they made the game a little easier, most definitely since they placed those white stars on firework for hitting flawless there have been some tweaks here and there. Navimap is definitey one of the better firework players and I enjoy playing fireworks with him.

Many people have been asking how people have cheated on the fireworks game, and possibly saying that a score over 300,000 is impossible. People who consistently play fireworks and have made video recordings of their game know there are only roughly 315 fireworks per game (A possible score of 315,000 with all flawless). There where some people achieving all time scores at about 340,000+ which many seasoned fireworks players knew this was impossible. Without getting into what these players where doing, lets just say they found a way to play the same scene and stage over and over again. Playing the same scene or stage over and over again allowed them to choose or pick the stage/scene with the most fireworks, ultimately providing them like 450+ fireworks per game. This gave this small band of players a huge advantage, but was utimately cheating during fireworks play. Please note, These players violated the vmk house rules and therefore had their accounts permanently banned from the game. I would suggest searching through the thread on vmkforums to see more about this incident as I am pretty sure this thread is still around. Thats pretty much all I will say about that incident...

omg i just now noticed that if you go to all time highscores there are some over 300,00!!!The thing about those scores is that only about 315 fireworks are launched and the maximum you can get for each firework is 1000 pts (so 315,000 is the absolute highest score you can achieve, though since many fireworks are launched at the same time in many cases, that score would be absolutely impossible to get). Those score were obtained through illegal methods back in September 2005. As you notice, you don't see those players around nor their scores on the daily list anymore (i.e. they violated VMK values, You Must NOT: Use ANY hacking, scripting or editing program with the game).

If you want to see the honest and true all-time high scores (and you'll see those players frequently in the daily list) then see this thread:

i did it in adventureland levels 1 and 2. on three i messed up and got a excellent. poor me!

I've seen a higher score than 291,000. I wish I could have gotten a screenshot of it but someone once (I sware on pain of death) got 301,000. No Joke! One night I was logging in and I looked at the high scores. And no I'm not on any medication..it said the highest score of the day was 301,000

SillyKid!I'm surprised this old thread has been resurrected. There are actually 5 known players who have scored over 290K since that first time back in February and about 53 times 290,000+ has been scored in the game.

wow i uselly be 7 or 8 once i was about 5th it is quite hard up there to get a good score.
