Today, I won fireworks magic for the third time on my main account. First, I scored over 240,000 points without taking first (that's usual way). Then, after taking first place ten times, I won the pin again. But today, I got this message after scoring over 240,000 points:

I guess this was my tenth time scoring over 240,000, or something..
I'm not sure if this is common, forgive me if it is.

No it is actually because they changed the point scoring system for the games for everest month. Congratulations though :)

thx for clearing things up Jdrizzle. i was pretty confused for a while. so far, i've only won the pin twice. still, maybe i can get it a third time again :)

Now we know that you can get the magic twice via the "Over 240K but not first place" finish. I still wouldn't guarantee that you get it after doing it 10 times. It has been very inconsistent for me, first time was after 5 straight first place finishes on the same day, another time was 10 victories over 3 days, and my most recent happened after so many first place finishes over 2 weeks. So this reward doesn't have a definite milestone to achieve.

You get the fireworks magic pin AGAIN after you get over 240,000 ten times. I have done this 4 times since February started.
