I've been brainstorming for new game ideas, and I've come to three choices for a new game. (Please tell me if any of these have been done before.) Also, please do NOT steal ANY of these three ideas.
1. Guess the Text
I actually tried this one out. It was pretty popular. It's a team game, where the person on the blue side has to describe I word I give them to the person on the red side, but the catch is, they can't say the word. The person on the red side has to guess the word using only the description given by the partner. If the word is guessed, both players win prizes. It has two, open lines so it's got good crowd control.
Down Side- If one of the players doesn't understand the rules of the game, or the word I give them, it can lead to some serious frustration.
2. Smart Shopper
A group of five players line up. I use my number generator to choose the difficulty. For example, shoes would be 1 and shirts would be 5 or whatever. Not sure what the highest number is. XD Anywho, I give the name of (a) certain shirt/shoes/pants, and then they have to quickly find it and buy it, and then put it on. I'll make sure there are no cheap prizes, since you need to buy to play.
Down Side- People might complain they wasted their money if they lose.
3. Trivia Race
There are two players, one on a small bit of a river ride, the other a bit of an everest ride. I ask VMK/Disney related questions to each of them, and if they answer correctly, they get another piece of the track. If they guess wrong, the other person gets a piece. There are two teleporters by the stage where I am, (Since it's on a riverboat) one river ride, the other everest. The first person to get to me wins!
Down Side- It might be hard making new questions, because of the dictionary thing.
The winners get to choose from an assortment of prizes in all rooms.
So which ones do you think are best? Maybe more than one should be done? What would get the most people?
