Okay, here's the real annoucement. I am going to make a ride that will have 4-5 rooms. After this. I will post the ride story. Ok. The ride will open on the day Tomorrowland opens or earlier for a test run. It will take you back in time and watch the amazement.

I got this idea when i was traveling barfownz's Disneyland's past ride. So i hope it will be a big hit.

The ride is in construction and will be opening Winter 2005 :)

I will update every week on the ride's construction

Also, I will give an Insider tour on what will be the ride itself.

ok. Here's the story

The Ride will be called Captain Nemo's Time Transporter. You will be trying out Nemo's new toy. You enter the coffin Teleporter in the ride lobby, and it travels you to the Prehistoric era

The tiki room will be the prehistoric era. it has the birds and other stuff. Then you take the Jungle Cruise teleporter to the Pirate Era.

The Skull rock room will be the Pirate era. On one side, a group of dead pirates fire their cannons on another group of dead pirates, but you are in the middle. you take the coffin transporter that takes you to the Wild West.

The Boot Hill shooting room will be the Wild West. Believe it or not. you are in a literally shooting gallery and you are a target as well. You take the Coffin teleporter to the Future Era.

The Tomorrowland Outer Space Room will be the Future era, there you see Rockets(Rocket Chairs) on one side and flying saucers(chairs). the real story, you are between in a battle with Humans, the Rockets, and the aliens, the saucers, you take the Coffin teleporter that takes you to the exit

the Submarine room is the exit, you can go anywhere now or ride again.

The saying is, "imitation is the most sincere form of flattery." This is supposed to be a compliment. It means, if someone is copying you, you should take it as a compliment because they liked your idea so much. I think you are being silly to give Jones such a hard time for "copying" you. Obviously he's going out of his way to make his room different from yours. It's not like you invented rides in VMK in the first place! :Tongue:

I think you need to calm down just a bit, he is not try to totally copy you, just use some of your ideas that he liked. Everybody uses people's ideas now and then.

You do not have to shut down your ride because there is a ride close to the same concept as yours.. just keep running out.. maybe link in the future. If there is a ride that copied your's then your's will always be the original.. just put that in the name, description or a pic on the wall.

very true. you really can't expect someone to have an idea and the next day, someone else took it. that's what happened to me. everything was the same, it was all in the same place and everything.

Besides, barfownz, you're what.. um... 15? 16? Not to be rude, but you definately should act your age. As Jones said, it's a free country, who cares if it was your idea, if someone is doing an idea somewhat remotely close to yours you should be(as Genie said), happy someone has taken a liking to your idea and taken the time to think out an alternative way of doing something not the same, but also original. You're pretty much hijacking his thread as Genie said, and it's not right. You definately should learn that if someone is using a form of your idea, than as genie said, take that as flattery for someone taking a liking to your idea. And you know how just like your "ride" is about Disneyland's past? It's still a museum of a kind, and know what? Nedakh was the first to come up with a museum idea! When I first opened Speed, It was just my ride, The first of its kind, my orignial ride. Then a whole bunch of rides just like mine started popping up everywhere. And I thought some competition would be nice. But then i decided I wanted to turn Speed into some other rooms. So thats the end of Speed. And now there is a lot of rides like mine. So i'm happy that a lot of people tried to make a ride like me. But why dont you like it?

That's the thing, people will read something then take it out of context and do something the completely opposite. All you are doing is making BBallMan feel better by copying his ride because it makes him seem like someone important. Also, Jones your idea is great. You could even title it something to do with VMK if you do it when Tomorrowland opens.

I absolutely cannot believe that I wasted my time reading this thread! Let it go, have fun, enjoy - this was totally not worth the effort that was put into it. Many people have used my ideas, i went to theirs, saw what was different or better then improved my own game. They then did the same. No room lasts for very long anyhow just because we all have so much we want to do on VMK that we don't spend it in our rooms the rntire time.

bballman was saying too much peole was copying speed he had to shut down his speed ride becuase too much people were copying. thats what is going to happen to my ride
