Name: Halloween Town
Organization Member(s) Present: ??
Brief:
In the original installment, we seen Sora & Co. aid Jack in defeating Oogie Boogie. This time around, the world will follow the movie the "Nightmare Before Christmas" storyline somewhat closer.

Details:
The Pumpkin King, Jack is now growing tired of the same old Halloween rountine and with the help of Zero, discovers a portal in the forest to a place called Christmas Town. Jack becomes so fascinated with what he sees taking place in this town that he decides himself to throw Christmas! Later, Sora & Co. arrive and aid in Jacks quest to have Christmas, although unlike the movie, the groups approach to talking to Sandy Claus is less "invasive" (in the movie, they kidnapped him) as we seem them visit Christmas Town and coverse with Sandy Claus.

Although later, we see Sandy Claus in the hands of Oogie Boogie. Is this why we then see the group again attempt to defeat him? (to rescue Sandy). Also in this world we see the return of Sally, Barrel, Lock, Shock and Dr. Finklestien.

Name: Twilight Town
Organization Member(s) Present: Axel (amongst others)
Brief:
Twilight Town was briefly introduced in Chain of Memories, in which Sora explored the memories of the other side of his heart. The events in this town will focus around Roxas.

Details:
Twilight Town is split into two parts, the shopping district and the residential district, with a train that connects the two. There is also a huge clock tower in the middle of the town that is part of a train station. This gigantic station is on top of a hill that overlooks the shopping district. The trains from here head to the ocean as well as the Sunset residential district. The clock tower is seen as the symbol of Twilight Town and is loved by its citizens. Toward the end of summer vacation, the station sets up a campaign of free use of the trains, so the station becomes filled with children.

Following on, in Twilight Town were introduced to the second playable character of Kingdom Hearts 2, Roxas. He hangs out with the rest of his friends in a little place near the shopping district. At this place we can see sunlight coming in from the cracks. Originally, it seems to have been a passageway, but is now a hideout for Hayner and his friends (Orett & Pints). They've brought a lot of stuff into this place. From the cracks in the ceiling, you can see part of the train tracks, and sometimes you can hear the train as it passes by.

Roxas, along with his friends, will later enter a mid-summer tournament nearby there hideout called "The Struggle" in which he must face off against several others. The battles are one-on-one, and the basic premise is to pick up little balls that the opponent drops. The popularity of the event is enormous. Other competitors taking part include Seifer, who is with Raijin and Fujin (all characters from FFVIII), Setzer (FFVI) and Vivi (FFIX). Also lurking around at the time of the competition is Axel, who briefly fights with Roxas.

In the middle of the shopping district, there is large Tram Plaza. There are plenty of stores here, including an accessory store, as well as lots of houses lined up. The tram that travels through the plaza is a very important vehicle, and the citizens use it often.

Around the suburbs of the town is Sunset Residential District. This place overlooks the ocean. Streetlamps line a small river that passes through the middle of the district, and not too many people are seen walking around. This area has Sunset Station, where the train from Central Station takes you, and Sunset Hill, where you can seen the most beautiful sunset in town. The monument on top of the hill is a tribute to the building of the clock tower.

On the outskirts of the town is a mysterious large mansion. Going from the Tram Plaza, you have to pass through a forest to get here. The gate is locked, and it seems impossible to enter or leave, but there are rumors of 2 shadows being seen in the second floor windows. At this place, we'll see Sora & Co. with the friends of Roxas.
Secretly in the underground of this building is the headquarters of the Organization, in which we've seen Kairi & Pluto entrapped (also a mysterious scene of Kairi & Sora meeting), in addition to Roxas & Naminé. The enigmatic DiZ has also been seen in this building, discussing with one of the Organization members about getting revenge.

Twilight Town has plenty of jobs to offer Roxas, including mini-games that feature delivering letters on a skateboard, in addition to placing posters.

Other miscellaneous events include Sora & Co. exploring round the town, in addition to Kairi.

Name: Destiny Islands
Organization Member(s) Present: ??
Brief:
The starting off point for Kingdom Hearts was Destiny Islands, a place where children could adventure and explore all day with lack of parental supervision. We learnt in KH: CoM it was Riku who led to the destruction of the islands in the first game, but they were later restored with the close of the door to darkness, Kingdom Hearts and in return seperated Sora, Riku and Kairi further.

Details:
Now, somewhat later, the story on Destiny Islands pick's up where it last left off, Kairi being on the islands. So far we have seen footage of Kairi & Selphie on one of islands, both dressed in school attire. It is not yet known whether or not this world is playable.

Name: Hollow Bastion
Organization Member(s) Present: (All members in KH2 appear)
Brief:
Hollow Bastion was once the home to Ansem and some of the characters from the Final Fantasy games. Now two years later, it is in ruins and beginning redevelopment.

Details:
Hollow Bastion plays the biggest role in Kingdom Hearts 2, in a similar fashion to that of Traverse Town back in the original game. This time around in the world, Squall, Cid, Yuffie, Merlin and others are attempting to rebuild the town. When Sora & Co. arrive, they are asked by Cid to help in the redevelopment.

However, later on in the game the world will come under attack by the Organization, which results in possibily the most dramatic and some of the best scenes in the game. During this battle we'll witness fights between Cloud & Sephiroth, in addition to Sora & Co. (plus Squall & Cloud) facing off against thousands of heartless, Malficient and possibily Organization members. Adding to this, King Mickey will fight alongside Sora & Co. Although it is questionable who will win this battle, as we have seen Sora struggle, in addition to him begging to enter the World of Darkness (towards an Org. member).

Name: Deep Dive City
Organization Member(s) Present: Unknown, Mickey, Riku and Roxas (probably not members, in dress)
Brief:
Deep Dive City was first featured in a concept trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2 (at the end of "Final Mix")

Details:
Sora & Co. arrive in the world to encounter a member of the Organization. After conversing, the member singles out Sora and summons several Nobody's to surrond him. They then charge towards each over, leading to a surely amazing battle.

We have seen footage of a blindfolded Riku and another person dressed as an Organization member running up a huge building, swapping the Oblivion keyblade. If the other events in Deep Dive trailer are took into consider, we'll also see King Mickey journey through the city fighting off hordes of Heartless in an effort to find Sora.

Name: Beast's Castle
Organization Member(s) Present: Xaldin
Brief:
While exploring Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts, you were provided the ability to have Beast in your party. He was searching for his kidnapped love, Belle who was one of the princesses of heart. In Kingdom Hearts 2, Sora & Co. will journey to the homeland of Beast & Belle.

Details:
The world starts off with Sora & Co. entering the castle to find a Shadow Heartless. The group decide to follow it throughout the Castle. Later, more Shadows appears but then Beast arrives and kills them. When the group attempt to talk to Beast, they get attacked by him. Beast then takes the nearby Rose in the room and dissapears.

Later, you meet Belle who explains that Beast has imprisoned the entire castle's staff in a dungeon. Belle is obviously concerned and pretty scared, which leads Sora to offer help. Journeying throughout the castle leads to the group finding a Dresser who is not prisoned, he infoms them of the staffs location. Upon arriving, the group have to face off against a boss in the form of a door.

Present in this world is Xaldin, who manipulates Beast (explaining his agressive behaviour) and then later, kidnaps Belle. When Beast returns to his self, he teams up with Sora to fight against the Nobody's summoned by Xaldin, in addition to fighting him.

Name: Timeless River
Organization Member(s) Present: None
Brief:
This world is based on the first Disney short Steamboat Willie. It is the "other side" of Disney Castle and is apparently where light was first discovered. In Kingdom Hearts 2, Sora & Co. will access this world via the Altar of Light in Disney Castle.

Details:
Timeless River starts off with Pete smiling and then bursting into evil laughter. Sora & Co. then notice that they've all changed into twisted monochrome versions of thereselves (contrasting with the surrondings and all other characters). Pete then proceeds to taunt Sora & Co. that they have fell right into his trap, but it seems it is not to long before the group get the upper hand. Also featured in this world is Mickey, but it doesn't seem to be King Mickey, just another version. The role of this world is quite significant.

Name: Land of Dragons
Organization Member(s) Present: Riku?? (probably not a member, only in dress)
Brief:
The "Land of Dragons" is based on the classic animation Mulan. Like the film it follows Mulan who disguises herself and impersonates a man to join the army, to fight the Huns lead by Shan-Yu. Natrually though, it features slight twists that relate to the main plot, and this is seen by the inclusion of Riku supposebly making an appearence, among other Organization members.

Details:
This world was recently featured in a playable demo, in the demo you start off in a small village that is overrun by different heartless. From there you make your way to the mountainside fighting many dusk/nobodies. As you journey Shan-Yu commands an army of bee's to to attack you, which then you must fight for several minutes trying to survive against the heartless. Moving on, Mulan then fires a rocket at the mountain side which results in an avalanche.

Later, you must face off against a huge dragon heartless, From the start of the battle Sora, Goofy, and Mulan are on top of the dragon, in which you target the monster's horns and attack them. By sucessfully doing this it'll defeat the dragon.

Name: Pride Rock
Organization Member(s) Present: *Unknown Member*
Brief:
Pride Rock will closely follow the storyline of the "Lion King"

Details:
During the storyline, young Simba learns that one day he will become the new King. His father Mufasa educates him on the circle of life and how everything is connected in a balance (in some form relating to the themes of Kingdom Hearts 2). Mufasa's younger brother Scar becomes jealous of Simba's position of heir and plots to get to the throne himself by teaming up with the Hyenas. After this flashback event, things turn to the present as we see Sora & Co. in appropiate animal form and they team up with Simba to get revenge on Scar. At this time we see now Scar has teamed up with Pete, who is again an ally for the enemy. Later we'll also see the gang converse with Nala, Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa.

The battle system in this world is also somewhat different, due to the different forms of Sora & Co., in addition Simba will be a party member. Also present in this world is an unknown member of the Organization.

Name: Space Paranoids
Organization Member(s) Present: ??
Brief:
Space Paranoids will be inspired by the movie Tron

Details:
Sora & Co. get immersed into a computer world, or apparently, trapped. Fighting alongside Tron (the destroyer of evil programs), Sora & Co. will explore this world, ride Lightcyles in a mini-game and face off against Commander Sark.

Name: Oylmpus Coliseum
Organization Member(s) Present: Demyx
Brief:
In Kingdom Hearts, Oylmpus Coliseum was the training grounds on which Sora could become stronger by particpating in competitions and fights against powerful optional bosses. This time the world returns and the group must journey to the Underworld.

Details:
Upon arriving in the world, Sora & Co. are greeted by Hercules, and then are aided by Megara into the Underworld.

In the Underworld, Hades is again trying to get rid of Hercules. He decides to summon Auron, in order to help him defeat Hercules. Displeasing Hades, Auron refuses to help destory Hercules, so Hades decides to try and kill Auron. At this moment Sora & Co. arrive, noticing the events that are taking place.

After disputing who will defeat Hades, they realise in there current location (the Underworld) they don't have a chance. Because of this Sora, Donald, Goofy and Auron start running from Hades, but he catches up to them and goes into his berserk mode, in addition to summoning heartless and throwing huge fireballs. The group have to defeat the amount of heartless in one spot before a barrier breaks down, then they move onto another spot, while repeating the same process.

But even when reaching the exit of the area, things go no better, as Hades decides to summon Cerebus. With Donald & Goofly safetly in the nearby Keyhole, Sora & Auron decide to battle Cerebus (using CO-OP, Reaction and Regular attacks).

We also learn that back above, the Coliseum is being destroyed along with a Hydra, which Hercules is unable to defeat. In addition, we see Hades and Pete scheming.

Continuing on, Sora & Co. later have to protect Megara from Pete, in addition to facing off against Demyx, a member of the XIII Organization.

Name: Disney Castle
Organization Member(s) Present: ??
Brief:
Disney Castle is the home to King Mickey, Donald & Goofy. Although it was featured in the original installment, it was not a playable world. Upon playing, we learn that the castle has experienced a wild outburst of roses in the castles ground floors.

Details:
This world starts off with Donald and Goofy greeting Queen Minnie and introducing Sora to her for the first time. Minnie, then asks Sora to lead her to the throne room, past the Heartless that have invaded her castle. Donald and Goofy, for some reason, decide to go off on their own, meaning it's up to you to protect Queen Minnie. By working your way through the main hall's of the castle, Sora must defeat any Heartless, although Minnie does on occasion attack using her magic (in addition to a CO-OP move with Sora). Also present along this journey, are Chip & Dale, who are the Gummi Ship technicians in the castle. Later, we also see Donald talking to Daisy.

Later everyone proceeds to going to the castles ground floors. When they arrive however, things get no easier. Minnie shows the group an Altar which is the source of light, although as she is talking, we see gigantic thorns cover the room's walls. The light on the altar is weak too. The group must then enter the Altar, and at the other side lays... Timeless River.

Name: Agrabah
Organization Member(s) Present: ??
Brief:
In Kingdom Hearts, Sora & Co. alongside Aladdin defeated Jafar in an effort to save the kidnapped Jasmine, now the world returns in Kingdom Hearts 2, allowing you to explore a lot more of Agrabah itself (opposed to mainly the Cave of Wonders).

Details:
The world starts off with Sora & Co. conversing with Princess Jasmine. Later we hear that Pete is trying to bring back Jafar, so the whole group try there best to prevent this and even follow Pete into the Cave of Wonders. During there time in there, Abu steals a giant Diamond, leading to destruction. Although despite there best efforts, Jafar returns, so the group decide to face off against him in an amazing mid-air battle.

Name: Atlantica
Organization Member(s) Present: ??
Brief:
In Kingdom Hearts, Sora & Co. (in appropiate form) helped Ariel rescue the King's Triton from Ursula (which Ariel foolishy gave her). This time around, the world will reflect the storyline of "The Little Mermaid"

Details:
During the world, we'll see Ursula help Ariel turn into a human, to meet Prince Eric who lives on the surface. By doing this, it'll aid Ursula in her plans to take control of Atlantica.

Sora & Co. aid in this quest by attempting to defeat Ursula. They do this by taking part in a twisted sort of musical mini-game, a very different approach from the original installment.

Name: 100 Acre Wood
Organization Member(s) Present: None
Brief:
100 Acre Wood was an optional world in Kingdom Hearts, allowing Sora & Co. to take part in several mini-games (dependent on how many "Torn Pages" they had collected), it returns for Kingdom Hearts 2 in a very similar fashion.

Details:
Upon arrival, Sora & Co. will again meet the gang of 100 Acre Wood, yet Pooh has forgetten who the group are! (in addition to his other companions). Later we find Pooh (again) stuck in a hole at Rabbits House, so they all must try and get him out of it!

This game will feautre a variety of mini-games, including Sora flying around a world of flowing text, in addition to helping Pooh collect honey.

Members

The Members are presented by assigned number order; the numbers show seniority of the members with 1 being the most senior, and 13 being the newest member. They all also receive titles indicating their role in Organization XIII and their personality, unique elemental powers and their own breed of primitive Nobodies.
[edit]

1. Xemnas
No. 1 in the Organization: Xemnas, the Seeker of Darkness.
No. 1 in the Organization: Xemnas, the Seeker of Darkness.

Previously known by fans as the Enigmatic Man, Xemnas (whose name is an anagram of Ansem’s name with an 'X' added to it), the "Seeker of Darkness", is the Nobody version of Xehanort. Like his counterpart, Xemnas is collecting hearts but he intends to absorb Kingdom Hearts to become a complete and almighty godlike being. He can manifest some sort of energy as a weapon (one of the ways he uses it is by making red "lightsabers" with it), use the element of darkness, control the Sorcerer Nobodies and move through solid objects such as humans.

He is the man whom Sora fought in the Final Mix version of the original Kingdom Hearts at Hollow Bastion; he was the first member of the Organization that could be fought. Xemnas is first seen in Kingdom Hearts II during the beginning at a beach in the World of Darkness, stating that Roxas looks like Sora and asks if he has met him. Later on, he appears in front of Sora at Hollow Bastion to taunt him, and then later at Hollow Bastion again when the enormous Heartless army attacked it. While he escapes, Sora confronts him again in the World That Never Was. He is the last member of the Organization that Sora battles in Kingdom Hearts II; it is done with the help of Riku.

He is voiced by veteran seiyū Norio Wakamoto in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II.
[edit]

2. Xigbar
No. 2 in the Organization: Xigbar, the Magic Bullet Shooter.
No. 2 in the Organization: Xigbar, the Magic Bullet Shooter.

Xigbar, the "Magic Bullet Shooter", is a senior member of the Organization. He controls the Sniper Nobodies that share the same affinity for sharpshooting as he does. Being a sniper by nature, Xigbar uses rayguns and the element of time in battle, although he mostly favors sharpshooting instead of using time magic. A missing right eye and the deep scar on his left cheek indicate that he was in some sort of intense battle in the past. He has several grey streaks in his hair, which is worn in a ponytail.

For someone his age, Xigbar talks a lot and likes to insult people. He is not terribly intelligent and fights based on instinct. He initially appears before Sora at Hollow Bastion near the beginning of the game to taunt Sora, though he never takes off his hood. Later, he appears at The Land of Dragons coincidentally at the same time that Riku appears there. Sora sees him and confuses him for Riku, whom he had met earlier. He confronts Sora at the World That Never Was and is defeated. His original name was Braig.

He is voiced by Hochu Otsuka in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II.
[edit]

3. Xaldin
No. 3 in the Organization: Xaldin, the Whirlwind of Six Spears.
No. 3 in the Organization: Xaldin, the Whirlwind of Six Spears.

While he looks like the silent-type, Xaldin, the "Whirlwind of Six Spears", is actually quite talkative. He sports long black hair and long sideburns, and wields six lances while wielding the element of wind, along with controlling the Dragoon Nobodies who all wield spears much like his own.

Xaldin confronts Sora in Beast's Castle when he threatens to destroy the mystical rose and forces Beast to fight for him, along with kidnapping Belle so that Kingdom Hearts might be reopened and the Organization XIII may become complete beings. Xaldin's impulsive actions ultimately leads to his downfall against Sora. His original name was Dilan.

He is voiced by Yousuke Akimoto in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II.
[edit]

4. Vexen
No. 4 in the Organization: Vexen, the Freezing Scholar.
No. 4 in the Organization: Vexen, the Freezing Scholar.

Vexen, the "Freezing Scholar", is the research scientist of the group and loves to study the secrets of the heart. He is often very stoic in his behavior. Vexen is ranked higher than most others in the game and has long dirty blond hair. He can control the power of ice and carries a large shield in battle that blocks any frontal attacks made against him.

In Chain of Memories, he appears to help in Marluxia's plot, but actually siding with Zexion and Lexaeus. He first battles Riku in order to create a replica of him. However, Vexen cared nothing for his "experiment" and allows Naminé to manipulate the duplicate's memories against his wishes. When he encounters Sora, Vexen says that he came to collect his "debt" and provokes Sora's anger by making him believe that he controlled Riku rather than created a replica. After their battle, Vexen gives Sora the card to Twilight Town with the intention of revealing something important to the boy. Marluxia considers him a traitor as a result and sends Axel to kill him.

In Twilight Town, Vexen attempts to reveal to Sora why he feels as though he has been to Twilight Town despite being fairly certain (though memories are never quite certain in Castle Oblivion) that he had never been there. Sora and Vexen battle again after Vexen tells Sora to throw away his memories and listen to his heart. Following the fight, Vexen sees Sora as a true threat; even after being weakened by false memories, Sora remained very strong. Just as Vexen is about to reveal to Sora Marluxia's plot to use him and the existence of "the other side of Sora's heart", Vexen is struck behind by one of Axel's chakrams. Despite pleading for mercy, Axel lays the deathblow to Vexen, telling him "Now you can be nothing instead of just being nobody." His original name was Even.

In the Chain of Memories manga, there is a research lab in the lower levels of Castle Oblivion where Vexen spends most of his time.

He is voiced by Tatsuya Kando in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
[edit]

5. Lexaeus
No. 5 in the Organization: Lexaeus, the Peaceful Giant.
No. 5 in the Organization: Lexaeus, the Peaceful Giant.

Lexaeus, the "Peaceful Giant", is a well-built, muscular fighter in Organization XIII's ranks. Lexaeus is one of the two members of the Organization in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories that appears in Riku's story only. He employs a large tomahawk and the element of earth in battle.

Lexaeus, along with Vexen and Zexion, are older members of the Organization who are less than pleased when they are forced to submit to the will of newcomers like Marluxia. When they realize the Lord of Castle Oblivion plans to overthrow the Organization by capturing and manipulating Sora, Lexaeus and Zexion decide to capture Riku and use him in the same fashion to counter Marluxia.

Lexaeus seems to keep an eye on events unfolding in the higher floors of Castle Oblivion and he is the one that informs Zexion that Axel has killed Vexen. When it became dangerously apparent that Sora might fall into Marluxia's grasp, Lexaeus confronts Riku directly, trying to convince him to open himself up to the power of the darkness in his heart. Riku refuses to give in and Lexaeus attacks him. In a very close battle, Riku manages to defeat the brute, but with his last bits of strength, Lexaeus releases all of the darkness within him in hopes of overwhelming and consuming Riku. However, King Mickey protects Riku. His original name was Elaeus.

In the Chain of Memories manga, there is a gym in the lower levels of Castle Oblivion where Lexaeus spends most of his time.

He is also voiced by Tatsuya Kando in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
[edit]

6. Zexion
No. 6 in the Organization: Zexion, the Shadow Walking Tactician.
No. 6 in the Organization: Zexion, the Shadow Walking Tactician.

Like Axel, Zexion, the "Shadow Walking Tactician", is a skilled manipulator by nature, though as we discover, not skilled enough. Appearing in Chain of Memories, his talents lay outside of battle, even to the point where he does not possess a weapon; he is the only Organization member who does not fight in a gameplay battle and lacks a voice actor.

He is one of two Organization members who appear only in Riku's story. He has the ability to identify individuals by their scent, sensing when they die, and seems to be able to do so from great distances. His element is shadow.

Zexion informs Vexen and Lexaeus when he senses two new scents in the lowest basement of Castle Oblivion. One of the scents is Maleficent, and he senses that she is eliminated by the other visitor, one with a scent "exactly similar" to that of the Superior. With little information on what was happening, he and the others decide to await development. Not long after, he identifies the other guest in the castle: Riku. He observes the boy's progress through Castle Oblivion until Vexen's death, when he and Lexaeus decide that they should use Riku just as they believe Marluxia will use Sora.

After Larxene, Lexaeus and even Marluxia are killed, Zexion sees that Riku is no longer needed and attempts to destroy him himself. He leads Riku into a manifestation of Destiny Islands, Sora and Riku's home, in which Riku sees his friends disappear. Zexion appeares and wages psychological war on Riku, telling him about how he threw away his friends and his home, opened the door to darkness, and destroyed his islands. Following Riku's battle with a Darkside Heartless, Zexion uses his power to disguise himself as Sora and attacks him, telling him that he's become nothing more than a pawn of the darkness. He engulfs Riku in light, but a vision of Kairi manages to convince Riku to shed his fear of the darkness. With newfound strength, Riku follows Zexion's scent through the light and strikes him, but Zexion escapes. His escape was short-lived; Axel brings the Riku Replica down to him and convinces the replica that he can become real by gaining power that the real Riku does not have. The replica agrees, and with Axel's suggestion, strikes down Zexion without difficulty.

He was originally Ansem's youngest lab assistant and test subject, under the name of Ienzo. He was the one that convinced Ansem, with his passionate words, that they should expand the horizons of their research.

Kingdom Hearts II Alpha Ultimania, a short guidebook released to promote the game, lists him as being "fallen into ruin", though the meaning of this remains unclear.

In the Chain of Memories manga, Zexion spends most of his time fooling around with various puzzles.

No. 7 in the Organization: Saix, the Moon Dancing Demon Man.

Saix, the "Moon Dancing Demon Man", has an X-shaped scar on his face and wields a gigantic broadsword. He controls the element of moon and the Berserker Nobodies.

Despite his rank, Saix is respected as if he was the second in command. He is a calm and collected man who shows no emotion. Axel has a clear dislike of him and Saix becomes the one to brand Axel as a traitor to the group for attempting to derail DiZ's plans. Saix shows his true beast-like nature when he fights Sora at the World That Never Was, going into to a berserk state when he is on the verge of defeat.

He is voiced by Ginpei Sato in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II.

Axel, the "Wind of Dancing Flames", works as a double agent in Castle Oblivion. In battle, he utilizes a pair of chakram as well as the element of fire. He is a skilled manipulator and one never quite knows whose side he is really on.

Chain of Memories

Axel is the first member of the Organization to battle with Sora in Castle Oblivion, though the fight is nothing more than a test of Sora's strength. He gives Sora his first set of world cards to proceed through the castle. Later, he pretends to join with Larxene and Marluxia in their plan to seize control of the Organization using Sora. To gain their trust, he assassinates Vexen when ordered by Marluxia to rid them of "traitors". In Kingdom Hearts II, Axel's other motive for killing Vexen is revealed; because of Vexen, Sora almost learns of his nobody counterpart, Roxas. Afterwards, in order to derail Marluxia's plans, Axel sets Naminé free so that she can reveal Sora the truth about how she manipulated his memory.

Eventually, Axel confronts Marluxia, prepared to destroy him by reminding him of the order to wipe out traitors of the Organization. Marluxia uses Naminé as shield to keep Axel at bay, though Axel resolves to go through anyone, even Naminé, in order to kill Marluxia. When Sora makes a sudden appearence, Marluxia vanishes with Naminé, leaving Sora to fight Axel. Sora defeats Axel, after which he states the existence of their relation before vanishing, letting Sora believe him to be gone for good. After Marluxia is defeated by Sora, Axel enlists the aid of the Riku Replica that Vexen created to get rid of Zexion in Castle Oblivion's basement levels and to fight the real Riku.
[edit]

Kingdom Hearts II

Axel's role and motives are fully revealed in Kingdom Hearts II and revolve around Roxas, whom Axel sees as a dear friend and almost like a brother. He attempts to personally bring Roxas back into the Organization by force, knowing that if Roxas was to find and meet face to face with Sora, the two will fuse to complete Sora and Roxas would no longer exist. When that plan fails, Axel discovers that Xemnas has simply been setting up Roxas and the other members of the Organization to further his own selfish desires and he turns against the Organization. He kidnaps Kairi to see if he could use her to influence Sora to fight with him against Xemnas.

Because of these acts, Saix brands Axel as a traitor, and decides to use Kairi as bait to make Sora give up the fight against them. Axel eventually realizes that if Sora were to die, Roxas would "die" along with him. Knowing that he would be unable to live with himself if he were to let Roxas die and angry that he put his own needs before his best friend's, Axel chooses to fight with Sora rather than against him. When he and Sora are attacked by a large group of Nobodies, he performs a kamikaze attack and sacrifices himself to save Sora.

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II, Axel is voiced by Keiji Fujiwara.

A blond fighting musician, Demyx, the "Nocturnal Melody", uses a sitar as his weapon and controls the Dancer Nobodies. He does not enjoy fighting, but can control and combine water with his sitar for strong attacks such as making identical copies of himself out of water.

He is seen as immature compared to the other members and rather incompetent at completing missions. Initially, he is confused between Sora and Roxas, regarding the former as the latter in their conversations. Demyx first appears in the Underworld, where he plays around with Sora, not taking the young keyblade master seriously. Rather than making a repeat performance, Demyx changes his attitude when he fights Sora again at the Hollow Bastion. Unfortunately for Demyx, Sora defeats him again.

He is voiced by Kenichi Suzumura in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II.

No. 10 in the Organization: Luxord, the Man who Gambles with Fate.

Being the "Man who Gambles with Fate", gambling permeates into all aspects of Luxord's life. He loves to gamble and sees battle as just another form of it. Like Zexion, he is more a strategist than a powerful fighter. He has neatly ordered white hair, a mustache and several earrings in the shape of the Nobody symbol. Luxord uses a deck of 52 playing cards and the element of illusion in a variety of ways, such as defense, concealment, attacking and morphing his opponents into different items. He also posseses the control of the Gambler Nobodies.

Luxord appears at Port Royal, shouting orders at Barbossa's men and investigating the Parley Process. He manages to escape before Sora and his friends can fight him. Later, at the World That Never Was, Luxord appears before Sora and traps his companions in his playing cards, leaving Sora to fight alone. In his final gamble, he raises his cards to defend himself from Sora's final strike, but it is in vain.

He is voiced by Jouji Nakata in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II.

No. 11 in the Organization: Marluxia, the Elegant Assassin's Blade.

A relative newcomer to the Organization, Marluxia is Lord of Castle Oblivion and the "Elegant Assassin's Blade". In battle, he wields a pink scythe and the element of flower (referred to as "nature" in some official material; the meaning of nature does not exactly correspond to the powers Marluxia possesses).

Along with Larxene, Marluxia conspires to overthrow the Organization by using Naminé to manipulate Sora's memories. Marluxia first appears as a hooded Unknown before Sora on his pathway and tells him, "Ahead lies something you need, but to claim it, you must lose something dear." and appears unhooded later to quell a fight between Vexen and Larxene.

He declares the replica of Riku a failure and threatens to tell "the Superior" about this. The intimidation tactic is effective and Vexen reluctantly agrees to Marluxia's order to kill Sora. Axel remarks that Vexen would kill Sora, thus rendering their plans useless, but Marluxia is confident Vexen will fail. He assigns Axel to eliminate Vexen when the latter failed to kill Sora and almost told Sora about the "other side of the heart".

Upon Axel's return, Marluxia extends his trust to Axel as he has done with Larxene. However, Axel betrays them and convinces Naminé to do what she thinks is right. Larxene fails to kill Sora and was eliminated as well. Marluxia recaptures Naminé and is confronted by Axel, who accuses Marluxia and Larxene as the traitors for conspiring against the Organization. The two are about to fight with Marluxia planning to use Naminé as a shield. Sora appears and Marluxia disappears to the 13th floor, leaving Axel to fight Sora.

Seeing that Axel has been defeated, Marluxia anticipates Sora's arrival on the 13th Floor. The two fight, only for Sora to realize he has been fighting a replica of Marluxia. The real Marluxia, atop a Nobody called "Spectre", confronts Sora and another battle ensued. Marluxia, like the other members of the Organization, is defeated.

He is the last member of the Organization to battle in Chain of Memories, and, like Vexen and Lexaeus, is voiced by Tatsuya Kando.

No. 12 in the Organization: Larxene, the Apathetic Princess.

The only female member and the "Apathetic Princess", Larxene, conspires with Marluxia to overthrow Organization XIII by using Sora to achieve their ends. She is an arrogant sadist in nature, abrasive and uncaring for the feelings of others as she enjoyed seeing them suffer with her mindgames. Larxene uses the element of thunder to fight and wields kunai held between her fingers as her weapons. Compared to the other members, she is incredibly agile in battle.

In her first encounter with Sora, she flips Marluxia's plans into high gear when she attacks Sora and turns the luck charm into a shape of a star different from Kairi's. The act fully replaces Kairi in Sora's memories with Naminé. After the battle, Larxene mocks Sora, claiming he's trying to "play" the hero. The trust Marluxia and Larxene place in Axel proved to be a mistake when he derails their plans by setting Naminé free. Naminé reveals to Sora that the Organization has been using him since he stepped into Castle Oblivion. Larxene appears to Sora, after he fought the Riku Replica for the fourth time, to destroy them all. Again, Larxene mocks Sora for "chaining" himself to false memories of Naminé and the "promise" he made to her. The taunt proves fatal, as Sora attacks with Donald and Goofy aiding him. Sora kills Larxene, leaving only two members of the Organization in Castle Oblivion for him to deal with.

In the Chain of Memories manga, there is a library in the upper area of Castle Oblivion where Larxene spends most of her time reading a book entitled Marquis de Sade, which was named after the infamous french writer, who was the namesake of sadism.

She is voiced by Rieko Katayama in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

No. 13 in the Organization: Roxas, the Discovered Key.

The youngest and newest member of the Organization, Roxas, the "Discovered Key", was "born" when Sora briefly became a Heartless. However, due to a combination of Sora's short time as a Shadow and Kairi's heart serving in his creation, Roxas had no memory of being Sora. He wields the Oblivion and Oathkeeper Keyblades, and controls the power of light and the Samurai Nobodies. His name is an anagram on Sora's name with an 'X' added.

Roxas' first appearance was in the Another Side, Another Story video that is unlockable if the player accomplishes certain tasks in Kingdom Hearts; he was the first Organization member to be revealed. He later appeared in an additional video, Another Side, Another Story: Deep Dive, for Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. When pre-release screenshots and video showed this character without an Organization cloak, he was featured prominently, emphasizing his importance to the future game's plot. Without an official name or information to go by, Kingdom Hearts fans dubbed him BHK, short for Blond-Haired Kid (the Square Enix-given name in Kingdom Hearts Alpha Ultimania was Misterious Boy [sic] [1].) and debated his importance in the plot

He is voiced by Jesse McCartney [2] in the English version of Kingdom Hearts II and Koki Uchiyama in the Japanese version.

Story

During his time in the Organization, he and Axel became best friends, but that changed after Xemnas revealed Sora's existence to him. Roxas, against Axel's wishes, wanted to find out the truth behind who he really was and left the Organization.

Roxas in Another Side, Another Story: Deep Dive.

Roxas co-oped with Riku when he was attacked by Heartless (due to possessing the Keyblade), but the two soon fought each other and Roxas was beaten (and knocked out) by Riku once he fully embraced the darkness in himself. Riku took him to DiZ, who placed him in Twilight Town with no memory of being a Nobody. DiZ had Naminé replace some of Roxas' memories with Sora's, much to Axel's enraged fury, who did not want Roxas involved with DiZ's plan. As a result of DiZ's scheme, Roxas lived a normal life in a simulated Twilight Town until his past came back to haunt him when Axel found where DiZ was keeping him.

Although he is able to remember his past as Number 13 in the Organization, and despite Axel's attempts to stop him, he merges with Sora at the beginning of the game as part of DiZ's plan to restore Sora's memories faster, since he realized that the process was taking much longer than he thought, and make Sora active again to fight the rest of the Organization. Despite his "death", Roxas appeared two more times in the World That Never Was near the end of the game. The first was a confrontation with Sora that led to a one-on-one fight. The fight is never fully explained and is left open for interpretation. Roxas could have been fighting Sora for dominance over their body, or he could have been testing Sora to make sure he was strong enough to fight Xenmas and other stronger Organization members. The final time Roxas appears is with Naminé, before Sora and Kairi, and he fully fades into nothingness as a part of Sora with no regret.
[edit]

Nobody

Nobodies are creatures without hearts. They are leftovers, existing as merely the body (an empty vessel) of people who lost their hearts to Darkness. Unlike the Heartless, the Nobodies attack people out of confusion and the need to be complete (finding and reuniting their bodies with their lost hearts). The members of Organization XIII, being the most powerful Nobodies because of their strong hearts, kept human form while weaker ones assumed malformed inhuman forms. Most of the members of the Organization tend to control one type of Nobody, usually suited to their fighting style.

There are twelve known types of primitive Nobodies: Dusks, Creepers, Dragoons, Samurais, Snipers, Dancers, Berserkers, Assassins, Gamblers, Sorcerers, Twilight Zones, and Spectres, the last of which was called by Marluxia only at the final battle of Chain of Memories.

I made a mistake, it comes out march 28th. Just a thought, but shouldn't vmk have like a kingdom hearts costume when you buy the game. But random ones like an org. suit, sora in different drives, riku, kairi(only girls), etc. That would be so cool I think!
