Whats The Rewards You Get For The Firework Game And How Do You Get Them? I Just Don't Get How? Pleaese Help Me Out :confused:

I sat down and played the fireworks game for a bit. I was the best player [^_^] and scored over 20,000 points. I was awarded some credits [forgot how many], a gold pin, and a free 'dark' room.

Pleas posst more i want to hear how to get all those points!!!!

If you win the game (1st place) you get 150 credits
If you score over 200,000 you get 40 credits

What about the pin? How many games must you win for the golden pin?

i played three times today

i got a bronze pin and 20 credits for making it to level 4 - had about 100k
i got a silver pin and 40 credits for making it to level 5 - had about 130k
played again came in second with 179k and got 40 credits
i havent won a game yet :( but my scores are getting better :)

You know, this explains a lot. I've played several times where the person in first place was just beating me badly, then all of a sudden I won in the last level. I thought I was just lucky. :o But I already got my rewards for 200k, so I didn't mind getting first. More credits! :D

OK... so, to answer my own question, you have to do really, really poorly. What I did was never move my arrows, so I always exploded the fireworks with the first firework symbol. By level 4 I had around 30,000 points. Then I stopped exploding them at all. They kicked me out of the game after level 4 and awarded me with a pin!

MisterToad told me he has tried that and it never worked, but then he said you may have to play with many others, all who are killing you in the points arena. So, if you want every single pin (like I do), you're going to want to really embarrass yourself in front of lots of other fireworks players!

I worked to hard and got 210240 points and didn't get anything but some credits. I really wanted the pin and free room. :(

I'll try that. I'm good at embarassing myself, I do so every time I attempt to play Pirates! ;)

Edit: Well, maybe I got too high. I ended up with 49k at the end of level 4, there are 5 players, and it sent me on to level 5. :/

Edit3: Drat. I got only 37k that time and it still passed me on to level 5. :( I NEED that bronze pin!

Not as bad as my own humiliation on the first level of the Pirates game after playing level three for decades. (Exaggeration, I know)

Anyways, how do you get booted out of the game? I've tried time after time and it never seems to kick me out.

What I have noticed since I have gotten the gold pin and a room for winning the Firework game on mine and MrLuantix's name and we have both gotten the awards.

As long as you finish the game and get over 200k points then you are most likely going to get then pin and a free room.....But the only thing is you MUST do this more then once. I am not sure if this works for everyone...But I have won the award 2 times for us so just try it mulitiple times!!!

I never EVER got my rewards, until I ended up breaking 200,000 and not WINNING. That's right. I finally got my rewards after breaking that point total, finishing the game, and coming in SECOND.

To get the bronze pin you have to make it to level 4, but not to level 5, which means that you have to be in exactly 6th place to get the bronze pin.

This is just a theory. I hope to prove or disprove it shortly.

i happened to get the bronze pin because

a) it was the first time i won

b) i got 79,000 pts

but i did not get a "dark room"; don't know what that is.

so, you can see, i don't do well at the fireworks game. i think that is partly because i use a wireless connection. a friend on aonther forum also has probs with his wireless. it has a bad lag, so the chooser thingy (technical term, i know) wouldn't switch fast enough.

*sigh* i feel bad for those who have excelled. riiiiight. :)

my highest score is 250,600 or something around that. I got 150 credits for first place, 100 credits for highscore and 40 credits for making it to level 5

after rereading this entire thread it seems that one of the original questions was never answered: what do you need to get to get the gold pin?


to recap what we do know

bronze pin: you need to come in 6th place (getting kicked out after the 4th level)
making it to level 5 = 40 points
silver pin: first time you make it to the end of the game (level 5)
Winning a game = 150 points
getting a high score = 100 points

Getting a free room = ????
Gettig the gold pin= ?????

Has this been fixed yet? It seems like there have been a lot of updates in the game so they might have fixed this bug.

i finally got the gold pin ( also 100 credit points and a free room) last night: scored just over 200,000 and came in 5th overall!! :p

i don't think the fireworks magic pin has been released yet. but i do know the gold fireworks pin is not a magic pin :cool:

If I quit during a Fireworks round, do I still get my points? I quit on the 2nd round, but I don't know if I got my points.

you dont get any points unless the VMK Messages pop-up and alerts you of it.
