Hello,
Does anyone have the site where you make the pretty glittery sigs? I would really like to make one.
I tried a forum search first, but couldn't find the info.
Thanks a bunch,
RoxaneFF

Banner generator: http://linuxenvy.com/bprentice/Banners/Banners.html
Banner Animator: http://redux.imagemagick.org/MagickStudio/scripts/MagickStudio.cgi
Some sites to get glitter tiles: http://members.tripod.com/~osodeoro/Sparklies/Sparkelies.html
http://www.wtv-zone.com/aylana/bringontheglitter/bringontheglitter-1.html
http://www.geocities.com/smhart33/GLITTERS.html
Directions:
(These seem really complicated, and you do need to read all of the steps carefully, but you should be able to do it if you follow the directions, and after you do it a few times it is really easy to make glitters.)
1. Search the sites with glitter tiles to find the one you want to use in your banner. When you find the one you want, right click on it and select "save picture as". Save it as a gif file to your computer.
2. Go to the Banner Generator (http://linuxenvy.com/bprentice/Banners/Banners.html) site. Half-way down you'll see a link that says "font examples." Click on that to see the different fonts available.
3. Once you pick the font you want, go back to the first page. Type in the text of your banner where it says "Banner Text".
4. Select the correct font in the "Font Type" drop down box. Change the background color from "white" to "transparent". Click the "submit" button.
5. You will see a page that say "Your banner is here." Click on "here" to go to the page with your banner. Right click on your banner, select "save picture as". Save it as a gif file to your computer.
6. Now go to the Banner Animator (http://redux.imagemagick.org/MagickStudio/scripts/MagickStudio.cgi) site. Where it says "filename" click on "browse". Select the banner file that you saved (The one with the text that you saved in step #5) and click "open". Now click on "view".
7. Next click on the "composite" button at the top of the page. Where it says "filename" click on "browse". Select the glitter tile file that you saved (The colored animated tile you found in step #1) and click "open". On this same page, where it says "Optional Composite Attributes", change the compose drop-down box from "Over" to "In".
8. Where it says "miscellanious options", put a check mark in the box next to "tile across and down the image canvas". Click on the "composite" button.
9. You will be shown a preview of your banner. Now click on the "output" button at the top of the page. At the "dispose" drop-down box, change it from "undefined" to "none". Enter "10" in the empty "delay" box. Now click on "output".
10. You will now see the final version of your banner. Right-click on it, go to "save picture as" and save it to your computer as a gif file.
:D Ta-da! You have made a glitter! :D Go you! For info on how to get your complete glitter to this forum, visit MrGenie's great thread about taking screen shots and hosting pictures on this forum, and proceed from step four there.
