Well, its my signature, so I might as well pass this information on. :)
These will work anywhere on this fan site - in the messages you post, in your signatures, and on your user pages.

First, you need somewhere to link to. The easiest way is to use another browser window and go to the page you want to link to. Then, the web address of that page should be in the location bar at the top of your browser window.

In the editor on the fan site, click the icon with the globe and link http://img95.**************/img95/1278/link14zk.jpg (http://**************)
and a new window will pop up:
http://img95.**************/img95/3903/link27iy.jpg (http://**************)
You should enter in the address of the page you found above. Cut and paste should work well.

In your editor, something like the following will appear:

http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39226

Which will look something like this on the page:
http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39226

If you want different text in there besides the address of the page, you can edit it. For example

an article about links on a page (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39226)
will look something like this on the page:
an article about links on the page (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39226)

My signature has other formatting involved, but that is standard formatting for the board. You can find out about [url] and other things you can do with the editor by following the link at the bottom of the page that says vB code is on. I strongly suggest you read it.
