if u need a line for your guest room, but u don't want anyone holding the line up, Why not just buy river track. Ppl don't have the trouble of not moving because it only moves if nobody is in front of them:uglyhamme. it really is convienent:lachen70: or if u want u could use the expedition everest ride if u want i don't care. It isn't like i will spy on u:detective

This is an excellent idea - I've been proposing it since the first day we had the river pieces. I even suggested it to HOST_somebody while they were having problems with the queue in their room.
Another tip - put a chair at the end of the river that you can only get to from the river, then put the turnstile on the other end of the chair. This will slow people down as you let them in, so you can more easily let only one person in at a time.

When I suggested this last month to a host, she said that it would take up too much space; but I don't see how it would since each log is about 1 space; the same amount if we are just standing there xP

What? That makes no sense at all.
If done correctly, they can even take up less space! Why? Because with a normal queue, you need a barrier on each side of the queue to make sure people don't cut in. You don't need that with a river since people can only enter at the shallow area! This gives you extra space to use for something else if your design allows people to enter that area.
Now, there are certainly caveats. For example, there is a good chance that people will go afk while sitting in line, and may still be away when they get to the end. If they have to keep moving, there is a smaller chance they will go afk.
But overall, the river queue method can be a great tool to really help you manage your room. And it boggles my mind why staff have not been using this.
I better stop now before I go off on a major rant.

If you do your lines like some staff it would be more room, I mean that the staff queue it seems that the turns are done way to sharp which makes it hard for you to click the ground.

i think that the expedition everest ride track would do even better for a ride line. The turn pieces are only one space instead of three

In the Ask the Host room, they use the Everest tracks as a line. Worked great.

They also seem to be using them for other things. The other night while in the 'Dont break the Ice' Room, when hula had to find Phinny, all she did was laid some track and and a teleporter. I guess Phinny likes these tracks.
