that was cool. I tried to tell when the yeti appeared. I heard a lot of screaming in one part so I wonder. I can't wait to go on it for the first time in March! :CastMem:

The drop is 80ft. tall and it happens right after you see the silohuette video of the Yeti tearing up the track. Your car tilts forward slightly, and then you fall off the face of the mountain, only to zip back up into it again.

The actual Yeti animatronic only appears once, and that is at the very end.

From what the videos suggest, it seems like the backwards part is very intense.

That was great! Looks like the Yeti really scared them! Can't wait to go on it! By the way, BestOfMe VMKer, I think that you can ride it now. They let people test it a couple weeks before it comes out. Well I just thought you might want to know.

I saw a photo on Flickr and the wait time for the Vacation Club preview was a whopping 115 minutes. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of waiting tomorrow.

If that does not work for you, just go to google.com. In search look up "google video" (without the quote marks) and click on the first link. When you get there type Disney in search. Alot of homemade Disney video's will pop up. Go to page six and it is the second video listed.

There is nothing offensive in the video, or any foul language. Though alot of 12 year old girls might get offended! lol (Gentelman taping makes a comment at the beggining of the video that he screams like a 12 year old girl, that's all)

also the disney world official podcast also came out with a ride video that is in excellent disney quality and shows you all details from the ride. it switches from a riders point of view to the back of the train to give you a feel of what the ride is. you can get it through itunes or disneyworld.com/podcast

Wow. What a nice video! I will most likely never go to Animal Kingdom since I live far away from it, and the video sure gave me a feeling like I was really on the ride. And the people on there sure made a great "commentary screaming" too. :) The beginning looks a little bit like Big Thunder Mounatain Railroad down at DLR and the ending is just like the Yeti Game too. :) Awesome.

Want To Ride It! Ahh

Sorsha and I went on the ride this week. I took my camera and got a lot of great shots, especially when you stop and begin to go backwards and the climb up to the top. I got the shadow in the cave but couldn't quit capture the actual yeti on film. Maybe next time. I recommend this ride for everyone.

Unfortunately, Everest was having a down day today. I was hoping to see my favorite Yeti this morning, but they said it might be open tomorrow.

My first roller-coaster was the Matterhorn and as far as I have seen it looks like it will be ALMOST the same
