ok, so this isn't quite 'gossip', but it is disney related and non-vmk, well, not too much..
I Just Came Back From A Little Non-Disneyland Trip To LA (yeah, i'm sad), But There's Something That Kinda Made Up For That..
no, Not The Disney Character Outlet Store (where i get many of my disneyland souvenirs for cheap), But It Was At An Outlet Store..
One Of My Favorite Little Outlet, The Book Warehouse, Was Closing One Of It's Locations On The Way Back From LA.. I Barely Found Anything There, But While Going Out, I Found A Little Book I've Been Looking For The Past 2 Years.. I Had To Get It, It Was Only $4.49, Plus The Additional 10% Off For Store Closing..
So What Is This Book, You Ask?

Back When I Was On The WDWMagic.Com Forums, I Was Introduced To A Unique Book That Takes Place In The Futuristic Disney World Called 'Down And Out In The Magic Kingdom' By Cory Doctorow, A Sci-Fi That Follows Jules And How, well, It's A Sci-Fi, It's Kinda Confusing..
why, The Prologue, where i'm currently in the middle of, Is Quite Confusing, I Just Know I'll Need To Re-Read It Later On..
Anyways, I Had Read The 1st Chapter Or So A Long While Back On A Free Online Version Of The Book, And It Mentions Disney World, Liberty Square, Tom Sawyer Island, Liberty Belle, Main Street, Kissimme (all that on the 1st page of the chapter), 'Mansion', Pleasure Island, Adventurer's Club (best place ever), Hall Of Presidents..
Clearly, If You Are A Big Disney-Park-Nut, You Will Get Into This.. That And If You're Into Sci-Fi..
Sounds Familiar?
'Kingdom Keepers', Yes, I Know, Never Read It Yet, But I Say This One Is More, well, Confusing.. I Feel That Kingdom Keepers Is More Of A Simplistic And More Accessible To Many Readers, But Just Looking At 'Down And Out's Prologue, I Don't Know..
Even Though It's A Little Novel, Just 208 Pages, I'm Seeing That This Book Is Packed..
I Kinda Expect This Book To Be Outdated, Though.. It's Been Published In 2003, That's Now 3 Years Ago! So There Might Be Some References To Some Attractions That Are Now Gone In Disney World (where changes always happen..)
Can't Yet Say Who To Recommend This Book To Yet, I'm Still At The Beginning, But If You're Interested Into It, Go Google It And You Might Find A Little Blog With A Downloadable Version, Info, And Such And Such (i wish not to link it since it has a word in the link i don't want to say here) And Probably Other Good Links..
And If Anyone Read This Book, Go On And Say What You Thought About It, While Keeping Some Of The Big Details Well Hidden..
I'll Update On What I Think About It Along The Way, And Who Knows, I Might Even Make An Attraction For VMK..
edit: ah, just forgot to type in lowercase for the fan site.. sorry.. been out a bit too long..
