This forum is to help the new people that just started VMK or just started VMKCentral. So if anyone has some helpful hints to the new people..post them here!:xmas35:

Don't make girl/boy friends (love). Do not give out personal info on VMK, if u really want to give it out, post it here. If you do both of those things on VMK, u will get a 2 hour ban; and if u repeatedly do it, its possible that u can get a longer ban. Also, no begging, u will just get booted or something. Be nice, and help others that need help; remember, u were them once too.

if your new community leaders are there to help you if you have a question that's their job!

also don't get roped into boy and girl and bay be stuff. it's just really annoying and will get you booted from my room or other peoples who hate that stuff.

if your new uh.. enjoy yourself? yea yea that is right enjoy the time here!

Just remember to have fun! Remember: Staff always wear green, and their names have a VMK_ or HOST_ at the beginning.

For further identification of staff and community leaders:

Staff - orange mickey badge and GREEN mouse ears. Staff always wear those ears and no one else has them. So, if a guest claims to be staff, look for those ears and the orange badge (see the badge in their signature window when you click on the staff).

Community Leaders: We are there to help guests in VMK and can be identified by a blue sorceror hat badge (click on leader to see badge in signature window). Leaders are always happy to answer questions and help new guests learn where things are in VMK. Keep in mind, however, that community leaders are NOT staff and do not have special access to items. We get items and credits the same way all guests do. We have to earn the credits and buy or trade for the items. If a leader says they do not have a blue magic hat to trade or the pink princess dress, then they don't and they can't get it for you.

New guests are always welcome but please keep in mind that VMK is supposed to be a happy place for all of us to play. As a courtesy, do not just click on another guest to trade. Ask first. If the guest has "I don't trade" in their signature, please respect that and don't open the trade window anyway.

For our more veteran players, please remember your own first days in VMK and be patient with questions that may seem simple to you. It can take a guest time to get the hang of things (such as the globe, where to earn credits, where to find things to buy). If you are in a public room and a guest is asking these things, try to welcome them and answer their question.

I have come across many nice players who I imagine are nice in real life, as well as rude/mean ones, who I imagine are also that way in rl (lol). So far I think the nice have outnumbered the mean. :) I wish there were easier games to earn points on... whenever I try games like fireworks, etc., I get bumped out pretty quickly being a newbie, so it's really hard to earn many points at all. The daily points earned by clicking on some things are nice, but again, more points would be better, as it seems to me the items to buy are pretty pricey! Anyways, vmk is awesome and I find it hard to go a day now without logging on!! Are the rides I see in vmk actually rideable? Maybe one of these days I'll figure out how to ride them! lol

Lol, welcome to VMK ^^ Anyway, the rides aren't actual rides; they are just for show!

Ok here is one of the most important things NOT TO DO!!! Don't do any, well, mods sorry if this is inappropriate for this site but don't pretend to be doing any "****** activity" on vmk. you will be permantly banned or get banned for 2 months. If u have to mods, you can delete my post.

yeah it does matter if you double post. the mods will get on to you and if you double post too much, you may get banned from the forums. and to quote, next to someones post it will say "quote." then type in your message referring to that quote, don't just put a quote for the heck of it ;)

but i also want to know how to post new threads i have tried almost everything so please please help me on that!

WELCOME ALL !!! I just wanted to add something about the taken/ girl and boy friends things going on. There is nothing to do about this is vmk, but it is bad and should not be happening and this will never change! I have never done it and will never do it at all. Staff have even stated that they want it to stop but there are too many ppl doing it and the vmk population would drop to about half the ppl we have if they band ppl doing this. And i would like to add that even though it is not against VMK Values still do not do it. VMK is a game to play with friends, and live inside the disney magic!
