Have you ever riden a ride with a character?

My friend rode Peter Pan's Flight with a Peter Pan!

lol i rode Space Mountain with Goofy and Saturday im going to ride Expedition Everest with Mickey Donald and Goofy lol

but then i was like 9 or 10 when i rode Space Mountain with them LOL

i did the rollercoaster like near mickey's and minnie's house with goofy!

I Rode Snow white ride With Dopey.....He was So Funny

My Sister Made Me go On The ride And im Glad I Did!!! LOL!!!

Ok it might sound kind of kiddie but I am still obsessed with following these guys, even if they are just strangers in costume. :xmas16:
I guess the Goofys love to ride in costume. I have seen at least twenty pictures of a Goofy on a ride.

I've been to Walt Disney World over 20 times, and I have never seen characters interact with the guests the way they do on TV commercials or promotions in that type of situation...

The Disney characters can only be seen in Disney parades, character dining, and special locations around the park... Because most of them can't talk, all they do is sign autographs, take pictures, and move around alot... They don't aimlessly walk around the park surprising guests and take them on rides...

So I think going on Goofy's Barnstormer with Goofy, is something only seen on TV... But that's just because i've never seen it happen... But I could be wrong...

lol i don't really do that but in a way i do so.. well i go on a ride that has a character there and my sister (dfudeyblue) is afraid of them and i feel srry for her too

Goofy is very tall, and Cant ride Space Mountain. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT.

His Hat would hit the beams.
There are very STRICT rules as to which character can ride each ride.

The character can only ride the rides to which they are themed, As in Alice on the Tea Cups, Pooh on his ride etc.


Goofy does ride the barnstormer though.

The only other times are for TV filmings and Special events.

Now somtimes the Characters will sneak on to a ride when they are not supossed to! But there is no way Goofy can ride Space Mounatin, sorry.

Well in an official Disney book there was a Goofy on Space Mountain. If this one snuck on they would have put the picture in would they? Also Mickey and his gang can ride any ride, and Peter Pan was on Pirates of Caribbean once.... And there was once a picture I saw of Snow White on Tea Cups

It is not that hard to be a character, it is just really HOT!

You have to audition.

I had 22 years of Dance Experience before I tried out. However, I didnt make it the first time, I had to try twice.

I t helps if you can dance, but it isnt required .

Also you height makes a difference.

If you are under 5'1 or over 5'10. They will take you almost instantly. You need to be 16. ( at WDW, not sure about DLR)

I am 5"2. I was in the Chipmunk/Pooh Height range. I did about 20 different Characters. I started with the Mickey Mania Parade, Did Spectro, Electric Light Parade, Christmas, Easter, Studios Stars & Motor Cars,All kinds of stuff.

I did Lion King, Christmas Castle Show, a few others. I worked mostly at MK.

There is a website it is Disney Careers dot com. They have audition info there.

If you look like a Disney Princess or Guy you have a MUCH better chance!
They also hire Puppeteers and Stilt Walkers, as well as Gymnast.

There are cetain heights that are really hard to get hired . If you are girl between 5"4 and 5"7, it is hard to get hired as a character, unless you are a professional level dancer or a Disney Princess type.

Well where and when exactly do you get a ride with a character cause well basically I go to wdw twice a year and never once in my 15 times going in my 12 year life have I ever ridden on a ride with a character!

Try going early in the morning, that is when it will happen most.
When they have the late night E ride nights they ride too.

The Brer Characters ride Splash Mountian.
Goofy is the Barn Stormer.

I have seen A whole lot of Characters on the Fantasyland rides.

Sometimes is just random, depending on the crowds.

Try asking a Character greeter! The Characters LOVE riding rides & f it is slow they just might ride *** you.

If you want Mickey & Minnie together, go to Toontown EARLY as soon as MK open, they (sometimes) will be on the porch of Mickey House for about half an hour!

Mary Poppins is usually with 1 or 2 penguins behind the Caroussel in Fantasyland.
