it's a quest in the park??

A member of the forums who went to disneyland the other day posted that she got to beta test the yeti vision game, so as other players of vmk who were there. so how can it be a quest in the park?

It does say quest, but the link says "Download Game".. so I am thinking that it is a quest (as in, you are on a quest in the game), but not in the sense of the normal "in-park quests."

I hope that made sense :)

remember, the E:E rooms had in their room id: Check VMK soon for more details.. or something like that

I think they just use the word quest because it seems like an adventure game and the goal is to go and find something, not because you have to go to WDW/DLR to do it ;)

I couldnt care less if I did or didn't get a room code from that game, that game looks like one Ill play for hours. I hope its one of those long adventure games that you get wapped up in for hours.

you cannot download the game yet, and other news... "Yeti Vision, the Everest Quest," is the entire title of the game, it just says "the Everest Quest," to give the title more substance. Don't worry all, everybody will be able to play the game and get codes through the Everest website. Then you will be able to redeem them through vmk.

just to say i know the everest site says nothing about vmk, but in the vmk esplanade it does have a yeti vision poster meaning that must be the game. just in case someone has already posted this info on this thread sorry. Hope it helps.

It says to enjoy the ride from home or something like that so NOT in parks :)

it is not a quest at the parks because if you look on the vmk calendar it says EVEREST RIDE JUDGING and by then only a few people would have the room and only they would win so it will be a game

Lol there is a game. Also there will be a tripple mountain quest, an everest quest, and an animal kingdom quest coming out later. There is a game which we downlod but it is not out yet. I think they are still testing it and making changes. It looks like a big game and we can win three different prizes. The room is grad, the ice cube seats maybe rug too idk, and the everest pins. I know this from people testing game in park and talking on the last VMK tour about the big things in the future.

Mine says coming soon! Arg... anyone elses?

Disney likes to blur the line between the online and real world (think TRON!) so they use the term 'Quest' for both online games (i.e. Hidden Mickey Quest) and real games (i.e. Adventureland Quest). One thing we have learned over the past 8 months of playing is that VMK is constantly bringing in new things to keep up interest. Whether it is real park quests, new items and guest rooms, or new online games, always expect the unexpected. Because Surprise is Magic!

No it isn't a quest. It's a downloadable game. I think it is supposed to be a 'quest through everest' that the yeti adventures through. Why else would they have a picture of that 3D bear? 0_o
