What do you think will be in the maze? Any decorations?

I just hope it will not be like a 700 person wait like the last maze.

I wonder how good it will be
maybe if they make like 10 versions of every room, things will be good for a change

Maybe it will be like the last maze with difficulty levels. Maybe you can win either the purple door, grand cali pin or something else we haven't seen! I know it will be terrbile if it's only one room. But i'm going to give VMK the benefit of the doubt and hope they learned from Halloween!

i keep losing connection in it

i remember back in the day during the halloween maze event. the line was well over 500 people, but disconnecting wasn't a worry. really, the only problem was people cramming into teleporters that took them to the entrance of next room. i never once got dc. i am guessing now it is just the amount of people in vmk, it is getting TOO popular. if they are this populated, vmk needs to find a way to make many copies of host and event rooms and try to find a way to reduce dc problems...

did anyone notice it didn't open? or is that just me...
or did get time zones mxed up again?

Maze doesn't open for another hour and 20 minutes EST time, Bob. ;)

Anyways, I hope they've learned and have several entry rooms. Looking forward to this!

CRASHED!! It is a nightmare

I crashed too, twice. I was so close the first time. GRRRR!

Ugh, I was in line for the gold path, then entered the room. When it was my turn to enter the teleporter, guess what? THE TELEPORTER DISAPPEARED!!! Yes, I assure you, it did disappear. No, it was not taken away either, since I asked everyone else in the room if they saw the teleporter, and they said yes. All I saw of the gold tele was the purple ? cursor, which, when clicked, did nothing. So, to not hog up the line, I had to leave. The saddest thing to do in this time is to exit the room yourself, willingly. :( Earlier, I was in the pink path, the middle of the maze to be exact... and... the big ugly "You lose connection" thing pops up. When the maze opened, I recieved a message from staff asking leaders to help. I ask myself: If they wanted us to help, then why did they make it so difficult? From what I gather, to help, you must complete the entire maze, then wait until staff records your title, and then go through some teleporter to the main room to help out. And, I forgot to mention the billions of people in the queue lines! These maze events are just so frustrating. And yes, I do appreciate all that staff has done, and continues to do, but didn't they learn from the Halloween Event to make more than three entrances? What is also aggravating is that the only staff you will meet will be at the end. Unless there is a leader at the entrance, there is no knowing when to enter the teleporter, and people are standing clueless. If you ask me, I think these maze events should be more organized. -Sorry about that long rant, I am just so sad and mad. (Almost cried in real life when I had to leave that gold path entrance room.) Edit: I was 24th in line for the pink path, and lost connection for the second time.

It really is frustrating...First time I waited in a line of 63 only to crash with 12 in queue. Second time my line was 69..I got in and was in the 5th or 6th room when I lost connection again..I was having fun while I was in the maze with the exception of one player that kept standing behind me telling me to GO..I even moved a side so he could go ahead of me but he still insisted on being pushy...anyway the maze is fun if we would just not get disconnected :(
Now I wait again behind 73 people this time...line seems to be moving pretty quickly..it is down to 20 in queue....here's hoping...

Yes, the maze is indeed fun when you are actually in it. I plan on finishing one of the paths tonight, and hope to be able to help out when finished. Hope you get in Reckless, I'm in the pink path line, 30th in line. This line is moving s-l-o-w-l-y. In 5 minutes, the line went from 33 people, to 32 people, no joke. Hope the rest of the weekend is loads better. Good luck all who are in the maze, and to those who are helping. As you can see, I'm in a posting frenzy. No!!!!!! I was in the gold maze then I disconnected after about 40 teleporters!!!!!!!!!!! Why me!?!?!??!?!?!? :( :( :(

i was just sayin soccer anyway i was just doing the purple maze and the gold teleporter disapered tiwice and so i went back to the other room and came back and it was there so i was lucky but when i got to the last room there was a person and vmk_babs got someones title down and then i got the dreaded you are disconnection screen!! ah! i wonder if she got me or not?

I had the same problem with the disappearing teleporters. I could only see it if somebody else came near it. Not for all teleporters, but a few. I saw a staff member and reported it. VMK_Sunny? or somebody. Makes it tough!

Woot! I completed the Purple Door Maze!

I have to say, staff really got it right this time. The maze theming was excellent and the door idea was brilliant! There were enough rooms so that it wasn't too short and not too many so that it's impossible to get to the end without getting disconnected. Loading and Prize-Recording was fast and efficent. There were helpful CL's helping out in several rooms, and people were nice and waited before entering the teleporter so no entrance boots would occur. I am so happy with staff for making this a fun and successful event; I really enjoyed it. I had lots of fun experiencing the maze they worked so hard to build.

The thing that made my night, however, was CL_Pebble when she said: "I'm glad that maze wasn't like skippyskippys!" or something like that. :)

Good luck to all who have not completed it, and congratulations to all who have! I hope you have a great time with this event; I know I did! :)

i think that would have put your name down before booting you. i did the maze i think the pink one is pretty easy.

So here's my dilemma...
Last night, I finished the maze and got to the end room. Phinny was there, and she wasn't talking at all. I was there for about 7 minutes before anyone got boot. This was really late at night, and so people were coming in at like 4 minute intervals. Anyway, I lost connection about 10 minutes in the room, and in that 10 minutes I didn't get boot but all 5 people in front of me on the chairs(I was on like the 4th chair)
My question is,
do you think Phinny got my name down for the doors?
It wouldn't hurt for me to try the maze again, I just need to know so I can rest easy, lol.

i had no real problems with the maze i did it three times, once with my own account and twice helping my sister with her account.:)

Well, in the maze...not anything too special. LOTS, and I mean LOTS of furniture, though.

There are purple, pink, and gold doors in the maze, but the prize is purple doors. These doors are only avaliable from Staff Games.
