some things changed. you can choose to wear hats now (yay!), you can buy coffee (yay?), there is an observatory (cough), you live in one house (boo!), new fish (YAY!) , you can change your hair style later on (yay!)... i think thats it... i really cant remember... (but i played a few minutes ago. lol)
