i doubt the game will come out on vmk on monday bc if you look at the calendar on their new website, it says for february a lot of everest events, so i would figure that is when it will come out. but then, maybe not?

i cant wait for this ride to come out. i heard that they are going to do some soft openings in about two weeks for dcm members and ppl with season passes. im trying to convince my dad if we could go. i heard that this ride is just complete amazing and that the power that it takes to move the yeti is the same as if they were to move a 747 jet airplane!

Like everyone else is saying i doubt the everest room is going to come out tomorrow. Why you might ask. There is no everest events until until February. CM are previewing the ride this week starting tomorrow. Then it is the DVC and WDW pass holders. Then it is General public soft openings. I have heard what is inside everest. They said some of the effects are not up and running yet and the sound was not on. Supposively they are supposed to have a waterfall but last time they tested it the waterfall flooded the area. Anyway everest is going to be open way before the real date. There is going to be a whole lot of time for soft openings. I think they set the release date too far back.

My guess is it is going to be like space mountain guest room. No one will have it for a month or two. Then most of the people will have one.

The text also says you can win "yeti awards," but it doesn't say if those rewards are for VMK yet or not. At this point, we are just assuming that they are given what we have seen (the everest room, snow rugs, Everest Train sofas, etc.).

It's not a quest. It's a downloadable game. Seriously, how can a Park Quest award you with video clips of a ride you will more than likely be riding while in the park? It says that on the list of features for Yeti Vision that you get rewarded with video clips of the ride among other things.

:confused: Actually the ride does not go upside. There are two simple samples that can easily prove this. For one the restraints are no where near able to retain riders while traveling through a 360 loop. For 2 while traveling backwards there is not enought speed to get through a loop. Then If you could tune your attention to the RCDB (Roller Coaster Database)

Also, I am not surprised the game didn't come out today or yesturday especially when there was no proof, as in pictures of the rumored Yavn, Caffdowg and other VMK staff and testers saying that the game was going to come out. I think that in order to beleive there needs to be some fact of proof. I asure you tomarrow there will be some one claiming that the Everest game will be out later.

Unless I see a pic of Yavn actually saying that I will only be able to take that quote with a grain of salt. I could just come right on and say hey everyone Yavn said the game is out right now and everyone would be like OMG and go on it, but it doesn't make it true. The game will come out when its finely tuned and what not. Just like the Disney attractions themselves does Disney just release a ride without alot and I mean alot of testing? No, they make sure that the ride is in perfect "show" with the use of testing, testing, working out the kinks, testing, fixing kinks, testing and oh yeah TESTING. If anyone on this board has bought some PC Games you will actually see very many flaws in them due to lack of testing. For example the Soaked Expansion Pack for Rollercoaster Tycoon had so many bugs in it that they had to create a patch only 2 weeks after the game was realeased, a little bit of misjudgement I'd say to release a game with so many technical glitches. The same goes for this Everest Game they are going to release. If it is a game that you must download and install, and take up space on your harddrive I deffinantly has to be in working order, before they can release it, they aren't just going to rush it so a few people can get their VMK stuff, the game isn't only for VMK players, what about people who don't play VMK? They would stumble apon this site, DL the game and beat the game, wouldn't give a second thought as to what the heck VMK is.

I know because I work at Animal Kingdom and my boss who is on the opening team says there is a loop, plus I have ridden the ride and at times you can tell there is a loop because an attempt to move your head is nearly impossible.

Just because you THINK there's a loop, doesn't mean there is. It has absolutely no loops, I don't see why you think not moving your head means that (That's just the G-Forces anyways).

I believ there is also a looping coster in tokyo disneyland and there are plans of one or there is one at hong kong.. paris I am unsure cause I never really took any time at that poark LOL

there are three looping coaster at the paris resort. space mountain, indiana jones coaster, and rock n' rollercoaster. and everest does not have any loops
