Well, as more and more people plan trips to the Walt Disney World Resort, FloridaOranes and I have decided to make your trip planning a bit easier and more useful. Here I give you a review to all of the hotels in the Walt Disney World Resort, so that you can choose which hotel fits you best for your vacation.
NOTE: Most facts for this Review were take from "Birnbaum's 2005 Walt Disney World: Expert Advice from the Inside Source"
Value Resorts: These Resorts are the cheapest of all of the Walt Disney World Resorts. They include "motel" like buildings, have great themes, along with a food court, gift shop, and arcade.
All-Star Music: This resort was the first of the 3 All-Star Resorts, and has a theme of musical instuments for each of the hotel buildings it has.
Price Range and Room Capacity: $77 - $121, 4 people to a room.
Places to Eat and Drink: The Intermission in Melody Hall is the food court, while the Singing Spirits is the hotel's bar.
Places to Shop: Maestro Mickey's in Melody Hall is the Gift Shop of the resort. There are also goceries and othr items to get there as well.
Swimming: There are 2 themed pools located near the corners and middle of the hotel with a theme of what the surrounding building's them is.
Transportation: The resort shuttles Disney Bus Transportation to all of the Theme Parks, Water Parks, and the Downtown Disney Area.
All-Star Sports: This esort was the second of the 3 All-Star Reosrts, and has a theme of Sports for each of the buildings.
Range and Room Capacity: $77 - $121, 4 people to a room.
Places to Eat and Drink: End Zone in Stadium Hall is home to the resorts food court, while Team Spirits is the hotel's bar.
Places to Shop: Sport Goofy's Gifts and Sundries in Team Hall are the hotel's Gift Shops.
Swimming: There are 2 themed pools located near the corners and middle of the hotel with a theme of what the surrounding building's them is.
Transportation: The resort shuttles Disney Bus Transportation to all of the Theme Parks, Water Parks, and the Downtown Disney Area.
All-Star Movies: This resort was the last of the 3 All-Star Resorts, and has a theme of Disney Movies for each of the hotel buildings it has.
Range and Room Capacity: $77 - $121, 4 people to a room.
Places to Eat and Drink: World Pemiere in Cinema Hall is home to the resorts food court, while Silver Screein Spirits is the hotel's bar.
Places to Shop: Donald's Double Feature is the hotel's Gift Shop.
Swimming: There are 2 themed pools located near the corners and middle of the hotel with a theme of what the surrounding building's them is.
Transportation: The resort shuttles Disney Bus Transportation to all of the Theme Parks, Water Parks, and the Downtown Disney Area.
Pop Century: Classic Hall: This hotel is a little different from the rest. It actually takes you back in time to remember some of the memories from the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and 1990's.
Range and Room Capacity: $77 - $121, 4 people to a room.
Places to Eat and Drink: Everything Pop in Classic Hall is home to the resort's food court, while Petals and Classic Concoctions are the hotel's bars.
Places to Shop: The Everything Pop Shop in Classic Hall is the hotel's Gift Shop.
Swimming: There are 3 themed pools located at the corners and middle of the hotel with a theme of what the surrounding building's them is.
Transportation: The resort shuttles Disney Bus Transportation to all of the Theme Parks, Water Parks, and the Downtown Disney Area.
Pop Century: Legendary Years: This hotel is a just like the Classic Years except the years are different. It takes you back in time to remember some of the memories from the 1900's, 1910's, 1920's, 1930's and 1940's.
This resort is not open yet.
Status: There are 3 of the 10 hotel buildings up along with Lengendary Hall. Constuction looks as if it has been stopped for now.
