this is an interesting mmoment...

When I was playing Pirates this morn someone used the word illidan (no caps) in chat. well, i thought that was just someone's username, but when i got out of pirates, it was no longer useable. Only in pirates. Is Illidan a word that pirates used or something? or maybe the dictionary doesn't apply while playing pirates?

i have never heard of that word... but it is weird u can use it in the pirates game and not out of the pirates game. maybe u should look the word up and see what it means lol

Odd. I still get red words when I play pirates though, so I am under the impression that the dictionary still applies. It would be funny if this was a loophole though...sit in a pirates game with your friends and chat to your heart's content--

<ZAP!!>

Oof, the VMK-chip installed in my brain just fired off again...nevermind, that would not be funny at all...think of the potential for abuse. Oh, the humanity! Bless you VMK for the all-seeing, all-knowing dictionary. ;)

It seems as if Illidan is a name. I looked it up on google. So maybe it was someone's user name on VMK.

stare at my username, and think very hard...lol

its weird though, because he only used the second half of my username. usually you have to type the WHOLE thing in EXACTLY...

The name Illidan came from Warcraft III. The Night Elf who betrayed his race during the War of the Ancients, and the brother of Malfurion Stormrage.

it is a name....just like typing 'Yavn' at first it gives you error...you have to hit enter many times and it'll appear...not only in the game, also outside

yep. thats right. I love that game so much I named a character in an rpg im making after him

and based it off of me, thus explaining the name

on topic: the word illidan is no longer working in or out of game. maybe there was a bug where at a specific time or event at vmk hq the dictionary is disabled?

MAYBE THEY HAVE TO DISABLE THE DICTIONARY TO PUT NEW WORDS IN!

*evil laugh, followed by much choking and sputtering, and a potato for good luck*

just tried in the fireworks lobby and it worked...somthimes things will show or blurt out depending on if the user name has caps in it. It seems the VMK dictionary is case sensitive...

why does this work at some times and not at others?

soooo close to figuing out the loopholes... loopholes are fun to exploit:)

Dont get me wrong, I would sometimes never exploit this loophole if we figure it out most of the time.
