Supercharged

This past week, I made the rounds to Disneyland and would like to share my experience.
From the moment we got onto the parking tram I knew the park was going to be packed. There were people EVERYWHERE, and it was difficult to walk around. I grabbed a fast pass from Space Mountain, and went over to California Adventure.
Since I hadn't been to California Adventure for the past few trips to DL, it was really actually a lot of fun. The Tower of Terror was great (despite the wait), along with the "It's Tough to Be a Bug" movie and "California Screamin". They had Monsters Inc. open for testing, so that was fun as well- but I still don't think it's a ton of improvement over "Superstar Limo" (for those of you that remember that). They use the same track and cars as Superstar, but Disney did do a good job with improving what they had to work with.
Going back to Disneyland, the crowd had died down a bit. I went all the normal ones (Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder, Buzz Lightyear, "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience", etc. etc.). After Space Mountain right before the Matterhorn, I stopped at VMK to redeem my quests and such. Below is a picture of everything I received, and the guy was really nice about my old version hidden Mickey sheet.

I then went over to the Matterhorn and rode it while the fireworks were going. THAT was fun, heh. After that, I finished up a couple other rides, and left the park. Overall, it didn't seem promising at first- but turned into a really fun and successfull visit.
