Would anyone wanna meet up for a VMK hang out?

If so, when works for people? I work all sorts of odd hours, but I always have wed free...

I vote we have a virtual hang out in VMK. That way, none of us has to go out of the way to meet up.

heartsdown is at disneyland like every weekend lol if you want to meet up with someone he is the man to talk with.

Isn't this kind of the reason we aren't allowed to use numbers and dates in VMK? This is exactly the sort of thing that would allow people to meet in real life outside of VMK, which is considered dangerous.

Sure, I meet people in real life that I met on the internet, but that is based on an individual relationship. I'm not so sure we should all just randomly meet; some freaks might show up or something.

i totally agree with u i would never meet with some1 that i talk to online... cause they could be a weirdo or something i just think it would be fun to hang out in vmk which there are rooms so i will do that :)

This brings up an interesting point. How do those of us with passes like to spend our time at Disneyland? Because the park is very hot and crowded these days, I frequently end up playing VMK at Innoventions, where it is nice and COOL. Other than that, I'm either shopping or taking pictures, because I don't have much patience for the ride lines. When I play VMK, I usually have a whole list of "tasks" I'm trying to accomplish that I can't do from home, and I am not at my social best! However, if I happened to run into someone there from the game and/or this board, it would be a pleasant surprise. So, I guess I would prefer to leave it up to chance. :)

On another note, SallySally has a good point, and I had thought of it also. It would take very few steps from the anonimity of VMK, to real life meetings, once a player finds out about these boards. I do have concern for the children. Obviously, parents should be keeping an eye out, but many of them may not even be aware that these boards exist, and may have a false sense of security about leaving their kids alone to play the game. While I'm sure these boards are a safe, friendly environment, there is always the chance that someone could take advantage of them for the wrong purpose. For that reason alone, it might not be a good idea to set up specific dates and times to meet other players.

hi alice i totally agree with u i wont ever set up at spectific time and place to meet somebody, but if i ever go to WDW (which i hope i do soon) and meet somebody that plays the game that would be cool

i am much the same, hangin in innoventions in the western room on the saddle seat in the far left corner (looking from the middle of the room/stairs) facing inward. kinda my seat :P ive sat there for hours just playing VMK with nothing better to do...may go and do that tomorrow before work.

I am a pass holder. I go to Disneyland once a month. I am not affraid to meet up with fellow vmk'ers in fact I all ready do. Picking a date is always tough. I'll watch this post to see what happens.
