While I know that some guests don't attend fashion shows in VMK, I never saw that this was against the rules. The mixing of the costumes is one of the fun things to do and there are a lot of girls playing that do enjoy "dress up" and showing each other different costumes. If it is something you don't enjoy, that's fine, but please don't make another guest feel badly just because they enjoy something you don't or imply that it is against VMK values. As long as everyone in the fashion show knows that that's what it is, that is their concern. It is only an issue if some guests use it as a way to make fun or humiliate other guests and that is not the sense I was getting from dsgirl92. She did not even call it a "beauty contest" so I'm assuming it is not a "win" thing so much as "how creative can we be" affair.

There are a number of games and room styles that I don't enjoy but I would never dream of telling a guest that they should not do something they like; unless it is against the rules and a bannable offense for which I would definitely give them a warning.
