Arg...I guess my old title is no more from yesterday onwards...Goodbye 'McDaddy'! The title was not acceptable anymore, so I had to go with a new one: BlazingAmos. Oh I will miss the times with that title...all the good times...

Anyway, I have made this new thread to ask, has your title ever changed? Why? If you do want to tell, you can post here and share your memories you had with your old title! We will all be missing them in our VMK Hearts!

i had that too when i start vmk and then a weak, later that account of mine was lost, so i guess its R.I.P for my first account, but since i am Jolber in vmk now it has not changed, i feel bad also for my first account

Sorry to hear your account changed, I guess it must feel kind of the harsh the first time but I guess we all get used to it later...I remember the times I used to joke around with my friends when I still had the title McDaddy by saying, for example, 'Who's your duh day?' as a friendy tease when I beat them in a game! Well I will miss those days alot but I will have to get used to it.........I think losing an account is alot worse than losing a title, sorry to hear this once again, Jolber! :(

Oooh, that stings. Since my name in VMK is CandyCane, I've never had to change...but I can imagine how it feels. All my friends wouldn't recognize me...:eek:

That was what I was thinking witchesrock but at the same time, I thought not, since when your title changes, VMK Staff sends a message to all the ppl on you list, saying that your title has changed. My main thought was that they might not recognize me as a guest, but at least my new title has already arrived. :) I sort of like my new title though, it is nice and now people will know why my short title (nickname) is Amos. :)

I don't think my title ever needs to change.

I just chose BnyKty because I love bunnies and kitties. I took the words "Bunny" and "Kitty", then I put the shortcut =).

I saw that yesterday when I logged in and I thought "what did he do now ?" lol

I know one other person who had to have his name changed too. Its crazy.
Now I have to remember who you are again lol.

well my has never been changed but knowing vmk and how it is starting to break in better rules and worse harsher rules pretty soon DizCaptan will be offensive. Who knows why maybe pirates are no longer allowed in the future or maybe because dis is spelled diz.

DizCaptain has quite a point! I don't want to be mean but sometimes titles become unacceptable because of the bad things players are doing! I bet McDaddy was not accepted anymore because of all this 'day care' and 'mummy and duh duh' stuff! Arg, someday I wish it could all disappear!

I hope your title doesn't change DizCaptain, it is a very cool one! :)

Yes, way back when I was known as Prisoner in the game, and for some reason that was never explained to me they took it away (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2189). Now I'm Priz. No idea why that is better.

Oddly enough, my brother started with the name PrisonersBro, and kept it.

When I first started on VMK my name was sharkbaitoohhaha. Oh did I love it! Well.. about a month later I was asked to input a new name like when you sign up. They didn't give me any reason why they deleted my name, they just did it. I am now MsSharkBait. Maybe the first was too long?

First I was YoyoAmyGirl, but then I started to dislike that name. There were too many people with the nickname 'yoyo', so I made a new person. I made 'Blair-Bear', but then she got reported and banned. So then finally I made PinkFrappuccino, who's name I love. :)

Well, I never got my title changed but my brother did. His old title was TvHead. I guess when they banned the word "head" they decided to ban his title too. His new name is tomorrowkid.

Like Winnie said, one day I went to log on and VMK told me I had to pick a new name. I am guessing it is because of the SoCa part added to the beginning of TinkFan. However, an explanation was never given. I know how you feel McDaddy. It was terribly sad! Ridiculous, I'm sure, but it almost felt like losing my identity. I submitted a replacement name, waited for weeks only to be told my replacement name was also not acceptable (SweetLilTink? go figure what is wrong with that). After over a month I finally got my CallMeFlower name. In the meantime, I was a guest, people didn't recognize me...ahhh!

Well back in beta and all through the summer I was akalittlesteve. Then I applied for CL and right after I tried to go on the account and it wouldn't let me. It would'nt say why so I sent a message to VMK and they did nothing about it. I lost a lot of my friends that I can't seem to find and a lot of rares too. So I had to create a new account, akalittlesteven. One that was similar so if one of my friends find me, they will somewhat remember the name.

Well my first title was Urbanracer ( from my favorite game ) for one day, the next day it said somebody had already picked the title. So were there two UrbanRacers at one time? Well anyways, Im darthmatt and happy to be it.

Btw, Akalittlesteve try to log in right now. Who knows it could of just been black screen and you never knew it.. that would be terribly horrible to miss your friends for that long and then notice it was only a black screen.

Yesterday, I played as BlazingAmos for a whole day for the first time, and I am getting used to it already! :) Still miss the sight of McDaddy on my VMK Profile...but since he is gone, BlazingAmos must evenge his place! I guess it's now 'Amos in the house!' instead of 'McDaddy in the house!' for me! McDaddy still lingers around VMK's Graves...maybe I'll find him in the Haunted Mansion Game! :D Lol, jk!
