Hello I was wondering if anybody has heard anything on the possibility of vmk being open till midnight on new years. If any of have heard anything on this issue or have heard from staff plz post it here.

Good question. I'm not sure about it, but I highly doubt it. I mean, VMK closed at 10 on Christmas, so I'm sure they will on New Years. Plus, I think Staff want to be with their family on such a special day.

Well, It stay open until 1 over here..... Just depends on which time zone you are in... lol

Well EST..probably. But as for PST, I really don't know. I don't think they would and that maybe some staff members want to celebrate the New Year's with their family, instead of watching a computer.

you are so lucky Nwahs but I live on the west coast. Also I think that VMK should be open till midnight pacific time on new years because it is a celebration day and you need to spend it with your friends on VMK.

Probably not, because then that means it is open till 3 AM on eastern time. And that can mess up the whole system. Chances are that it wont happen.

I still have hope that it will. I think they should have one day out of the year that it is open until midnight it would not really hurt them.

Last night I heard VMK Red say that hours will be normal. You best get in a boat and sail across the Atlantic Ocean to be celebrating the New Year in. Remember that staff does need its rest and to party also.

I think VMK Runo will have a lap top while he sits in Times Square watching the apple fall.

Well, in WDW the hours are 10am - 1am, so I should be good, seeing the park closes on new year's eve (well at that time New Year's Day) at 1am!

In the zone where i live midnight VMK correctly is open!!!

I can play to 1 a.m. anyways LoL because the EST Times so VMK closes at 1 for me....

I doubt that they would want to extend hours in celebration for New Years for Pacific time zone. I would want them to have a break from VMK anyways, considering that they have a lesser chance of spending time with their family and close friends during New Years if there were to be extended hours.

It doesn't matter to me because VMK closes at 12:00 for me, so on new years eve i will be at DLR (really) playing VMK until it closes &riding all the rides :)

I would love vmk to stay open later on new years but they have to stick with their open-close time.
