View Full Version : A Tip For Waiting In VERY Long Lines

I have some of my own tips I use for waiting in long lines, such as VMK Staff Trading Rooms, HOST Games, etc. I'm glad to share with you all, so here I go.

Before you wait, reload VMK. It gives you more time before crashing/disconnecting.

Do not keep flashing back to the VMK screen every minture. If you do it in like five minute intervals, the line somehow moves faster, and it gives you more time in the game.

When you enter the room, try to encourage no magic. This crashes the game.

Try to move around in the room. Moving means your active, so your computer won't go idle and crash.

When you enter the room, try to start a conversation. It will keep you active and less crashing :). thanks ForeverGoofy

Keep your place in line. Many people have an eye for cutting. Move up right after the next person. Thanks Behave
I hope those help. I will be adding more occasionally.

While I cannot offer any advice about staying connected while waiting in que to enter a room, I can tell you that typing something, anything while waiting in the actual room will help keep you from crashing.

The other night, I was waiting in one of the Host Gift rooms and getting increasingly nervous about crashing. So I started up a few miscellaneous topics just to keep everyone "active". Well, long story short...It worked!

And you know what else, after I got my gift and left the room, I left the computer to tell my family what I had just got and by the time I got back, I crashed. See? There may be some truth to this piece of advice.

.....

When you enter the room, try to encourage no magic//dancing. This crashes the game.

....

Just so EVERYONE KNOWS..... VMK_Phinny (HOST now?) has very clearly stated that dancing does nothing to promote crashing/disconnecting.

:)

Merry Christmas! :xmas11:

also, in HOST_Phinny's room, MAKE SURE YOU WATCH YOUR PLACE! I got cut twice by an evil girl on forums, who clearly disrespects other peoples connections, so i didnt get to trade. >.< Her response: everybody else was doing it! FYI: no they are not, at least for that room. and if everybody jumped off a cliff, you would too?

LOL, i had the same encounter with another evil girl, except she kept
saying "do over, do over" because someone else was winning, the HOST was
nice, so she let her have her "do overs" :(!Nobody wins that way! only if u count her:(
