Hi everybody, there has been a rumor spreading that some VMK staff member said they are running out of red flips. Does anybody know if this is true?

If it is true MUST BUY RED FLIPS

I'm starting to believe the rumor. so I bought ten pairs for now :D but everybody remember it is a RUMOR this probably is true but who knows...it might not be true.

Ok i am going to ask the next staff i see everyone go to staff now and ask!

It never hurts to stock up :) I might buy a couple pairs. However, if you want to keep them rare, I don't suggest buying a double hundred pairs. Then everybody will have them and that defeats the whole purpose of being rare. :)

I can imagine:

Person who reads this thread: *rushes to get red flips*

Next day, same person:

"Oh gosh, it was just a silly rumor."

i did, but when everybody thinks of rare flips, they think of green flips, it will not be as rare because they are not going to vanish all of a sudden, people will stock up on them, and will have alot :) just a thought, same way with ned t-shirts

I bought like three pairs, doesn't hurt to stock up since they are only 25 credit. I hope this rumor is true

i asked VMK_Nimue about the flips and this is the answer i got...

If everyone "stocks up" then they won't be rare. Did anyone know that Grenn Flips would no longer be sold? I'm just kepping the red flips that I wear everyday and not buying any.

64% They just remain buyable

So i feel Most likely they wont get sold out until a LONG time

it doesnot matter if rumor is true like cookietheif said it wont be rare if everyone has like one hundred pairs

I have 2 of every color of flips just in case an color runs out suddenly :) 1 to wear, one to trade. Please, no one go and "stock up" on red flips. If you want them to be rare and you stock up, you will make them not as rare.

yes dont be like a guy with green flips who bought 1000 Pairs and keep that to him self! He is crazy and kinda meen so it will be better if u just buy 2-4 pairs so u wont be like that crazy person. I only bought 4 pairs my self

This is a virtual game and therefore all items never really run out, its not like a developer could not push them back into the clothing line. There have been all kinds of rumors running around regarding this item x is selling out, and item y will be coming back one day, etc. Usually, Except for the Shrunken Ned Shirts you will probably never know when they will pull items from the shelf, or when items may return.

red flips yellow flips pink flips. all the same hting just a different color. I only have one pair which I never use. I only keep things like those because in case they do go out of stock then I can sell. But just a note. so many people will have them so trading will not work.

Red flips are red flip flops. We call them "flips" because for some reason "flops" isn't in the VMK dictionary.

Even if they do run outta stock on Red Flips, if everyone knew before-hand they probably wouldn't become rare, knowing every single person in the kingdom would have them, rofl.

i think something is up with blue. . a lot fo cl's and ppl here for a long time who would know good info have been stocking on blue stuff it seems . . .

The blue outfit is not a real uniform for the CLs. Since the Green was for staff, a CL dicided that we should have one too. He got some CLs to do it but then everyone did it. This was not a uniform set by staff. The flips basiclly mean nothing.

how can that be true! I mean it's just a little picture that says, "buy filps" and the you hit "buy" then it sends a link to your account that makes get the flips. This happens everytime you buy them. Unless, they're just saying that cause they want to mess with you. Or, they're taking them away. But I doubt it.

You can't "run out" of virtual items. It's just a matter of programming. If they stop selling them, it's because they want to.

Staff don't really run it. it is the testers producers developers that keep it up.

It is silly rumors like these that make me wonder why anybody believes them. The red flips are not going to go away. There is no reason for them to go away.. the only reason why the green flips went away is because of the staff costume. I HIGHLY doubt that vmk would take out red flips for no reason at all.. especially around christmas when a lot of people are using them for their holiday outfits.

I do not believe for one second that red flips will be rare! People keep saying staff is changing there color to red so the flips will be taken away! But i've asked a host and they have denied completely ever changing outfits or that red flips are going to disappear. If VMK did take red flips out for no apparent reason that's a bit cruel and sadistic don't you think?

red flips are NOT going to sell out, and green flips will NEVER return to the market.

i told vmk phinny if that is true but she said she didnt know she said it might not be true bc some ppl say that if all the sci fi dine in seats get filled you get a code for inferno and she said maybe not bc some ppl say that if you dance in the emporium a staff member comes in and gives you a magic pin but that is not true so i dont know if the rumor about red flips is true

red flips will not be the next green flips so just buy red flips if you like them not because you think they are going away.
