Yes it's on lots of DVDs. Oh, and for any Tower fans out there, here's some neat facts.

-the trumpet from "a passage for trumpet" is in the pre show.
-the invader from "the invaders" is on the top shelf in the pre show.
-an envolope marked "Rod Serling" from "a world of his own" is sitting on the table in the pre show.
-the fourtune telling machine from "nick of time" is on the top shelf
- before entering the pre show, look for the door marked 22 from "22"
-A sign announcing the Anthony Freemont band, reffering to the name of the little boy from "It's a good life"
-The footage of Rod Serling used in the pre show was taken from "It's a good life"
-the fith dimension scene in WDW's tower is based off of "little girl lost" also look for the chalk circle from that episode in WDW's exit corridor, and upstairs at DCA's boiler room.
-in DCA's photo preview area, look for the camera from "A most unusual camera"
-Imagineers had to watch all the episodes of the show at least twice while working on the project.

I searched for a long time for the DVD on my last shopping trip...and well for season one I'd have to pay £59.99 which I don't know in $ but I'm guessing between 70 and 100.

Ah Rod Serling was a genius.

I just read something here: http://www.wdwmagic.com/tower_robertrhine_interview.htm

Basically its an interview with Robert Rhine a Rod Serling lookalike who did the pre-show footage. Rod Serling was, of course, dead by the time that the Tower was built so they needed a "stand-in" for the footage, and Robert was that guy!

does tower of terror count?

I don't think it counts, because it was made by Disney, and they really didn't have an old Twilight Zone show on it. Only the movie was made by Disney about it.

Anyways, I saw an episode last night (didn't see title because I turned it on in the middle of it) and it was the episode where a man used a tape recorder to make people up, the end was kind of funny.

Please stay on topic or go watch some Twilight Zone.

anyhoo, the episode you watched was "a world of his own" a good episode I have not seen in a while. I hope they do the new year's eve marathon again this year. I usually end up missing the new year, because Twilight Zone is on!

Oh and by the way, any twilight Zone fan must have "The Twilight Zone companion (second edition)" by Marc Scott Zicree. It has all the opening and closing remarks of every episode! My favorite?

"The recollections of one Michael Chambers, with appropriate flashbacks and soliloquy. Or more simply stated, the evolution of man, the cycle of going from dust to dessert, the metamorphosis from being the ruler of a planet to an ingredient in someone's soup. It's tonights bill of fare on the Twilight Zone."
-Rod Serling, closing remarks of "To serve man"

Horizons, what's with you and good taste in TV?

It's probably cliche by now...but I still get a thrill when watching "Eye of the Beholder." M. Night Shamalama-ding-dong has nothing on that twist. ;)

Oh...and the one with the doll, was her name Talking Tina? The one that killed people. That was a good episode, didn't fall asleep until much past midnight the first time I saw that one.

If I get any updates on the New year's line up of Twilight Zone on Sci-Fi, I'll be sure to give everyone an update. Until then, Here's a holiday message from Mr. Rod Serling himself, Rod?

"A word to the wise to all the children of the twentieth century, whether their concern be pediatrics or geriatrics, whether they crawl on hands and knees and wear diapers or walk with a cane and comb their beards. There's a wondrous magic to Christmas, and there's a special power reserved for little people. In short, there's nothing mightier than the meek, and a merry Christmas to each and all."
