I used to make these dolls three or four years ago, on the site that they came from, before I could manage making them myself. Whenever I used one of these dolls on a lookup, my website, or even a signature, I made sure to link/put the site's address.
Recently, in the Artwork+Creativity section, one person started an innocent thread linking back to the site, about making these dolls. Suddenly out of nowhere, a million more threads indentical to the first appeared. The only difference is most of the creators gave no credit to the site at all, and some even said they drew them theirselves. In the beginning when there were only two or three of these threads, I didn't see the harm in them. But now, almost the whole section is filled with them, and they are all the same! Not giving credit to the site that actually made these dolls is technically stealing, and not allowed. I'm pretty sure of this.
Sorry for ranting on like this, and give me your opinion on this topic. :)
Thanks,
Amy (PinkFrappuccino.)
