Has anyone ever been sick on Christmas? My sister is 4 and she is in the hospital right now because she is sick, so I was just wondering.

YES! omg that was so awful!
I was like *cough *cough when we opened up the presents last year and i was STILL sick on new years eve so.. it was a complete nightmare!
everybody kissing each other a happy new year and i go *cough *cough!

Yes, I have been sick on christmas...it was during the tsunami time.....and children everywhere were dying of some disease. I was watching it at my grandma's (she has no cable..) and thought I had the disease. But I'm here today.. aren't I? ;) Anyways, the children on TV kept having bloody-noses, so was I. I was having them all the time, during the night, during the day, we didn't know what was wrong with me. But I seem to be okay.. I hope it isn't cancer of the blood (I pray everyday it isn't.. my parents didn't bring me to the hospital, so I've been wondering).

I have been sick on New Year's Eve a couple of times... which is just as worse, IMO...

like 6 years ago i was in hospital for 5 days over christmas on a drip because i kept going unconcious and dehydrated :S Hope you sister gets better though :D

i just had all that to i had to stay in bed for more then a weak i just got over it though im just having the last part of my cold

I don't remeber being sick on Christmas but last year I was sick on New Years Eve and New Year...I had the flu!!! xP It was not fun but i did miss alot of skool!!! xD

For some strange reason, I ALWAYS get sick on one holiday every year. From all the year's I've been born until now, I can tell you one holiday in which I have been waaaayyy under the weather. =(
i recall a few christmases spent eating chicen noodle soup..

UPDATE ON SISTER: My sister is still in the hostpital and the doctors say her breatthing is 88% so she has to wear an oxygen mask. The doctors say her breathing has to be normal for 24 hours until they let her go. My dad says she will be lucky to come home before, or on Christmas Eve.

I have been sick for 6 months now and they still can't figure out whats wrong wit me ( try going to the doctors at least once a week lol ) so i am sick right now and will most likely still be sick for christmas :( but hey i am used to it by now i get to miss lots of skool XD i hope your sister gets better mackegirl no one deserves to be in the hospital on christmas/christmas eve

Well here is the story we had a tradintion always go to grandmas and open presents etc. and then wut happened i could not even get out of bed! it was horrible terrible no good very bad day

Well,this is the first chirstmas I am going to have,sneezing on the presents lol. I have sneezing constantly every single day.Oh well at least I don't have school for a week,and I can breathe'

this is so weird as i posted that about i have never been ill on christmas i had a migrane yesterday and i have a headache now and feel dizzy and i don't know why i am on the computer if i feel like this !!

i am sick like every Christmas Including this year

We all went to WDW for Xmas last year, and it was our first time in Florida. After like 3 days of being there my mum came down with a fever and then a bad case of a cold and had to stay in bed for a few days.

She got better by the 25th, and my dad decided we should all go to Epcot and have a bit of fun. We got there and I was feeling reaallly bad, and to make it worse I went on Maelstrom a few times...and then it started to rain...and I mean RAIN!

My dad thought I was messing around when he wanted to get me onto Test Track, but as we got as far around the World Showcase as the Cola place (i cant remember its name but its like a wooden place filled with Cola and stuff) I just fell down (luckily into a chair)...I think I may have scared the cast member working there.

I had, unfortunately, caught what my mum had...but since my dad had already looked after one person, he knew what to do this time and I was ill for about 2 days, instead of my mum's near-week of being ill.

That was the worst Xmas ever for me. Mainly cause it's the first one I was ill on...

My mum blames a certain river-rapid water ride at Universal Islands Of Adventure for her cold...and I blame Florida rain for mine. lol.

Hopefully when we go back we won't get the same thing again. (But I know I'm only in the parks for one week so even if I do become ill then I'm forcing myself to go just for Mickey...)
