I have yet to attempt to add a word. It's quite disheartening to find out that even the most common words to be blocked, but it's even harder to suggest a word. I can't even send a question right!

I had not realized this was possible. I do wish that they would put all the Disney Character names in at least. I would make doing private trivia games much simpler. Maggie

I've submitted these words: "to", "too", & "woo hoo".
So far the words "to" & "too" have been added to the dictionary.

I wanted to use the sig I have here for my character but the words "obviously" and "overlooked" don't work so I submited them along with "Jedi" and "viper" so far the only one I've seen work was viper. I do agree that all Disney names and especially all in game names should be added (has anyone else tried to tell someone to go to the "dungeon", or the castle "forecourt", or look at the "spider web" lol)

where do you suggest a word?
just send it to a cast member? On the main VMK page, click the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. Go through the steps, and one of the choices will be to add a word to the dictionary.

I submitted a request to add the word "rats" to express disappointment. But it has not been added. I did notice that recently I could type the word "bummer" so now that that is in the dictionary, I don't really need rats. :)

I sent a suggestion to add in the words Mom, Dad, one, and Philharmagic saying that everyone has a mom and dad, and that while I'm glad they don't allow numbers for safety the word "one" has many important uses in such a game.

I haven't tried them yet to see if they've added them in or not.

I agree that they should atleast add all of the characters names. I also think the rides/attractions/shows/parades should be listed as well.

I think it's odd that you can't type a word like mom or dad, but they do allow the words witch and organ.

I also suggested that they add in a "Speed Chat" like they have available in Disney's online game Toon Town so that the younger players that are no good at typing and/or can not spell well, can easily speak with other players and experience the Disney magic in VMK more fully.

That's an okay idea... But the only problem is that they make VMK a ToonTown thing... You can only chat with your real life friends...

I'm probably going to ask to add the words "Whee" and "Yay", because I don't see how anyone can live without them.

I have also submitted the suggestion that they put all the animated Disney characters names in to make the question games easier. It does seem that more are allowed now than before though.

One VMK cast member did say that they were adding new words every day, and they still had a ton more to put in! So that's promising :)

today I requested: grinning, socialize, crypt, creak, quake, spooks, materialize, and vocalize
I bet you can guess why!
I've never requested a word before so I hope at least some of them go through. It will be excited to know that I improved everyone's singing capabilities!
