Well, the newletter seems jumbled this time, but here we go:


This week we want to recognize some amazing Guest Rooms that have a holiday theme. We know there are MANY Players creating holiday rooms right now and want to thank all of you for making VMK so festive-looking.

BriarLori has made a beautiful room which reminds us of another Holiday this time of year in Hanukkah Celebration of Lights.

Happy Christmas Steamboat by CL_LisaWDW was one of the first Mark Twain Steamboat rooms we saw with a holiday theme, and it really is a sight to see.

CK_Sharkdad (shouldn't this be CL_Sharkdad?) shows us Christmas Time on the River including a fireplace with mantel and cozy areas for conversations among friends old and new.

In Christmas Colors, DBourque shows off a very impressive Christmas display of lights all lined up symmetrically in the tree shapes.

qruthie invites everyone to Rock Around the Christmas Tree by including a very special dance floor.

HauntedGrim shares his unique vision of the holidays in HauntedGrim's Holiday Castle.

Christmas in space is jentink's vision of not only a Christmas tree in VMK, but the spirit of giving as well.

Players who have been recognized more than once for their room design talents will receive the VIP award instead of the Best Guest Room award.

VMK Top Tips
Starting this week we will be interviewing a different member of the VMK Staff each week. Pay attention - the answers may prove useful in VMK-hosted trivia games!

Do Players have a "nickname" for you? No but they sing the song all the time: "There was a farmer had a dog and VMK_Bingo was its title oh"

Three favorite pieces of furniture, and why? Grandfather clock (need to know what time it is), Lumiere candle (I just think he is cute) and Ariel's brown treasure chest.

Favorite type of Guest Room? The Jungle Cruise Explorer's Tent. I just love the gorilla, even though the flies make me want to swat them.

Best VMK moment? The day we got our 1 pins; means we were all here from the start.

Favorite place to hang out in VMK? Storybookland! Great place to hide, great seats, and the view of the water is peaceful, (I wish I could see what is in the whale).

If you could wear a different outfit, what would it would be? Jeans! And sneakers, they're easier to walk in than flips!

What one safety tip would you like to share with our readers? Please do not tell anyone you are home alone. It is not a safe practice, and we really do want you to be safe in VMK.

That seems to be all, no event news (even though it says so), no best game and spelling errors. Yes, they are busy so I don't blame them :)

Whatever happened to the best game rooms?

Well, last week it took them just a few to put the best game room, so you know :)

it says event news. where is the event news? was it the Give-A-Gift news? if so, its a really boring news letter this week, except for best guest rooms.

i think they are updating it, because it wasn't on 12/20 about two hours ago, and now it is

Yup,and they also didnt take out the vmk give a gift thing. Maybe they are working on something and this is just a minor update

how can one of VMK_Bingo's favorite furniture peices be a Brown Ariels Treasure Chest - it doesnt exist!

I've always found it odd that they don't include pictures of the winning guest rooms to go with the little spiel of how great they are. Do they expect everyone to go down there and see them themselves?

And to cptnruthless's point, that's strange... I always thought there was one, but perhaps she got confused over the pirate one? Hmm..

When they judged my room it was funyn for some people where talking before the show start and HOST_Hula said shh i want to take a picture. It was funny but congratulations to all this weeks Best Guest Rooms. Even more people then last week!

The funny part is, I never saw a staff member visit my room while I was
there, so I was "stealth judged". I never knew they'd judge rooms like
that.

I think they might have visited the Holiday Room Teleporter Lobby I'm
hooked into. I think two of the other winners have links in that lobby,
too. :)
