No not yet, they'll deduct the credits on Dec. 24 when they deliver the presents. (the search button is your friend! :))

I think they take the credits when people get their gifts, or right before they get them. :)

If you spend it and no longer have it Dec 24th, your gift won't be given.

uh dude, for the event it says on the 24th credits will be taken and gifts will be sent.
