CookieThief 12-17-2005, 08:22 AM Although I'm not new to VMK (just this site) I've come to wonder two things that seemingly no one knows the answer to:
- How do beta items get released into the game? Do the go to staff and then get traded around or just directly to a tester? Which brings me to...
- How does one become a tester? Is this position only available for Community Leaders?
Does anyone know? I'd really like to know!

Beta items get into the game from people that were there from beta. simple.
Testers... hm... I heard that they are hired by either Disney or Sulake, but I (as of now) am too lazy to find evidence.

Dudetteroxs 12-17-2005, 01:05 PM Testers are people who test stuff for VMK. Like staff, they are carefully hired. They do have the leader badge, staff badge, day 1 badge, and sometimes the VIP badge.

Yavn is not a tester, he's a producer from disney.
All of the other people are imagineers/testers Also from disney.
THE VMK_ and HOST_ Staff are from sulake.

And what a job those imagineers have,imagine getting paid to work on the computer all day,designing things for kids to enjoy,thats an awesome job :)

You are not Wolfman because:
1. You would not have that avatar
2. You would post properly and not sloppy.
3. If you are really wolfman, can you tell me who you work for? Disney or Sulake? I know alreayd :) I just want to see if you are him

that was really off topic, but beta was a time period in VMK when there was less people and way more bugs and some of the stuff from beta was taken out
it would be better to ask someone that was there, lol
CookieThief 12-19-2005, 10:55 PM That's my dream job - to be an Imagineer! I'd LOVE to be one... sigh. That or be a journalist for a teen science magazine. Fun. :)
