LOL,they keep saying you get a code,and my friend did it in rl. You cant,the cars hold 4 each,and there are 4 cars. 4x4=16. You need 16 people in the room,you can only fit 15 at a time.

I went into Sci-Fi dine in just to check it out and I had so many guests screaming at me to sit in seat and get a prize.I was so confused as to what they meant lol. thanks for letting everyone know it is not true

There are theories that the "taken" silliness started that way, too. There are some players who believe, and tell everyone, VMK staff will ban you if you aren't taken.

It's one of your responsibilities, as official VMK Forums Explorer Scouts, to educate other players about how the game really works and not to listen to rumors.

i know. this girl was telling everyone to sit down and we would get a prize. i sat down but because i wanted to. i knew it was false and people even told her but i think she actually convinced other people.

oh lol something like that happened to me yesterday and i kept telling the people there -You won't get a code!!!!- and when vmk staff sent a message they claimed someone in that room lied to them and started arguing. oh well, they will know for next time

LOL I remember that one!! This was when inferno first came out. Nobody really knew how to get it. In fact, I'm also guilty of dancing over and over again... I really thought that's how you got inferno. :xmas16:

My favorite fake out in VMK to date, was wehn my friend asked me how to get Tent magic. He explained that the guy would appear as a tent and say that it was tent magic. His little talking bubble would appear just above the tent, and so he claimed it was magic. I had to explain to my friend that there was a way to stand in the tent so as to not be visible, which would make it appear that the tent was talking.

I loved that one.

I have seen many positive things done by VMK staff, but I'll leave that alone.

yeah i was in one of the sci-fi dine-in rooms where it sprouted from, and everyone wouldn't believe me when i said it wasn't true, and wouldn't answer my questions about it. Then we i figured out that there can't be enough people in the room, they still wouldn't believe me. That's when i called in our friend CL_Strajo (Greenway) to help me. I left after that, but mostly a lot of people were going to other sci-fi dine-ins where we wouldn't bother them.

OMG the rumors in VMK are getting worse by the day, and FUNNIER!!! Oh well, might as well get a seat to the VMK drive in, since I can't go on a field trip to the movies today, curl up with some popcorn I bought from the stand in Central Plaza, and leave when everyone tries to fill the seats up.

LOL.. The rumor went around rather fast. People were saying that to me on for the 12th and that was a bad day; I got into a fight. They did real bad things so I just reported them. Wonder who started it. - looks around -

i hate it when ppl call u names bc u tell them its not true, i mean like ppl are very mean and stubborn( i dont think i spelled that right) like that, well, that does not really happen anymore now ppl get into fights. one time i walked in and these girls where fighting and calling each other "BAD!" names that should not say in VMK, and this girl was standing in front of the screen, and ppl where saying they were gonna report her if she didnt move, i go in front of that screen all the time, and there is not even a movie playing sometimes ppl in vmk are just wrong!:rolleyes8:rolleyes8:rolleyes8 and ppl do the taken thing there too

the same thing happened to me. It was someting like if we filled up all of the cars, we would get some sort of prize. It turns out that it was just some people playing a trick on us. Besides, I don't think it's possible to have all of the cars full.

I tried to stop a friend from going to check out this story. It is amazing how fast rumors fly on vmk. If it sounds too good to be true it would be wise to give it a second thought!

That's funny, the other day three people said they reported me because i would not dance in the Matterhorn because they thought they'd get inferno. I tried telling them it was not true, but this only made them more angry. They were all like, dance or leave or I will report. I kept asking, report me for what? not dancing?

I remember someone saying that at the Sci-Fi Dine-In but I was not listening to him since I was talking with my friend. That place is kind of crazy and there are too much taken stuff there...what VMK has come to these days...I just wish I could have played Beta VMK, to see how it feels to be with no taken stuff...By the way, this unknown VMK Forums sounds weird, maybe it's like a VMK Downtown? Lol, well I hope we get more informed on this crazy thing!

Just as an aside, there was "taken" in beta. It was just as wrong then as it is now; but it was there. Please don't let anybody tell you differently. Guess it's just another rumor that floats around vmk . . .



. . . and yes, pigs can fly in vmk and if you are lucky enough to catch them you will get inferno and flying carpet magic. But what's even more cool, if you combine these pins you can dance on the carpet with the circle of fire around you as you fly around vmk . . . (jk, please nobody believe this).
