first: whats the question?

and second: i have a riddle

3 people go to a reastraunt and there bill was $30. the waiter realises that he has overcharged them by $5. so he decides to pocket $2 and give back $3

they each pay $10
10*3=30
they get refunded $3
30-3=27
the waiter pockets $2
27+2=29

they only paid $27 so how come the total is $29?

The extra two dollars would have been from the store's register, not their own pockets, seeing as they already paid.

Their bill should have been $25 + $2 the waiter took = $27
They each paid $10-$1= $9
$9 X 3 = $27 :)
