View Full Version : More than one per party?
NASAMan 07-20-2005, 09:52 AM I have a luxury day tomorrow as my daughter, son and I will be going to the MK to do nothing but Questing! A family outing based on the Virtual Magic Kingdom! We are all three players (NASAMan, cubbiefan and BabyTaz) and would each like our share of swag. If we each turn in a set of quest cards will we be treated seperatly or as a family? I don't want to hide the fact that these are my kids (although they often try to hide the fact that I am their Dad!) but we'd each like our own set of stuff. Any help with this?

Roxane 07-20-2005, 10:42 AM Each person who has a park ticket can do the quest. So you all can get your own cards. Grin, I did it with my husband and we both got the cards. He would have been so mad if we hadn't gotten seperate cards. You just have to have quest cards for each person doing it.
If you're going to WDW I hope you get Abby for your tour guide. She was great!

You will also each get a VIP tour card but you will only need to use one for all three of you to go on the tour. They will give you the card back with the date and time written on the back (so oyu can't use it again) so you can get your VIP badge. Then you will have two more left so you can two more times (until your 30 days are up). This would net you two more chances to get trivia questions right and do the HM quest! Abby was great, we had her too. After 30 days you can do all three in park quests again. Don't forget to take your tommorrowland quest with you! Have fun! :D
Dylan 07-20-2005, 12:08 PM I went yesterday and my family had a blast. Except Ryan (our tour guide) was a speed walker so at the end of the day my legs felt like globs of goo.
Anyway HM quest was so easy. But when he was asking how about much the price went up to of the lots and this girl said 100,000 but it was wrong and she still got the 500 creds card  But it was cool my family doesnt play vmk except me so i got all the cards muahahhaahhaha

Mickey_Dude 07-20-2005, 12:25 PM You are lucky :( the next time i go to Disney there is going to be no VMK in to years! But I think disney should give you the chose to fax printables versions of the quest card with Disney Movie Question and then you well be able to answer than fax the answers for a bunch of code they would fax you like some new magic pins, teleporters,or even exclusive rooms!
Dylan 07-20-2005, 12:27 PM Since my mom doesnt play vmk and she got all cards too. I got two of everything on this list so muahahahahha.

Sounds great, its really good you 3 can play as a Family, and its also something to do and interact. I applaud you for having a heart as big as theres, and i wish you a great time Questing, good luck and have fun. And yes you all 3 will get to do the quest. Not just as a family:) have fun.
figmentisback 07-21-2005, 04:44 AM At Disneyland I did the quests and got the items, then got 3 cards for VIPs. My sister and mom never got their ticket scanned but we never had a chance to get the quests done again. but we did enjoy the tour. (I only got 2 sets.. my sister kept hers even thought she does not play.)
NASAMan 07-23-2005, 02:35 AM Our quest was a success! We arrived at 10:00 and went stright to the theater and VMK central. We got on the 4:30 VIP tour by 'previewing' the answers with help from the others here at VMK. Most of our tour were guests who completed their quests earlier in the week, and we were 15 and 16 of the 20 member group. Because we wanted to show the spirit of the quest (although we took some liberties in completeing the 'written' part!) we then proceeded to go around the park and photgraph the answers. Cubbiefan and I will post these on a website this weekend to help those who want to quest. Be prepared for some walking; even with all the food I ate I still lost two pounds!
Oranges 09-01-2005, 10:58 AM That's always the case at Walt Disney World, either way you spin it you are still going to walk at least three miles.
when 1 member in your family completes the quests you all (all people in your party) are eligible for the tour but you only get 1 VIP code.
Advice: from personal experiance you should all complete the quests for the prizes

In nov, I will be at dwd for one week. can I turn in quest answers everyday for a set of quest cards? There are nine of us going for five days! Does that mean 45 sets of quest cards?????
Then can we do the VIP tour more then once? Iherd something about a 30 rule?
I'm confused but hopeful!
NASAMan 09-07-2005, 12:02 AM The new rule is redeeming one quest every 90 days. When you turn in a quest, they scan it and your ticket. It originally was 30 days. I wonder though, not to suggest cheating on this rule, but how would they know? Of course, if you have a multi-day ticket they will have a record that it has already been scanned, but what if you came back with a new one-day pass? The best thing to do, that does not violate are go around any rules, to recruit as many people in your party as possible to play for you and get extra cards from them.
purplegoddess 09-07-2005, 01:23 AM i thought that was just for the VIP tour? is everything 90 days now? did they make new cards that say this?
