The water in the near flume ride is amazingly realistic - refelections and all! I like the dirt paths and the wet-underside to the logs themselves! Good detail. Kudos to the team!

Grat screen, the effects really are amazing. It's amazing seeing how all this can be acomplished with computers. And here, I am using them for the paint application!

EDIT: A little known fact for all of you. Splash Mountain was based on and old movie called Song of the South. Walt Disney made the movie because he loved the book Uncle Remus's Stories (Or something like that) and wanted to make a movie out of it's wonderful tales. It featured all the classic charaters such as Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Bear, and Br'er Fox and the start of the famous song, Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah. It was never released on video.

That or they didn't want the entire screen to be filled with huge log seat thingies so we could fit four players. Then there wouldn't be any space to walk ;)

Ermmm....well, it's been those same people dudes riding the ride since VMK started -nods- And well...they dont eat so they dont get huge! But the other poor unfortunate mules they stuck on the log flume ride were big because they were from day 1.....-cough-

Looks great. I just got back from WDW and this wonderful ride now brings me sad not happy thoughts. I lost my Mickey Baseball cap going doen that slope. It blew off my head and into the long water fall. Gone forever. It was a very unique one with the ying and yang symbols formed to gether to make a Mickey. I could not go back on the ride for the rest of the trip. Though i did find another unique hat. I will miss my old one. Well I really did leave A piece of myself in WDW. At least until they referbish the rife :)

All I'm saying, as a suggestion to staff, is they should make those flumes 4 seaters. That way, it will look more DLR/WDW like. :)

well you know that could be the ride like your sitting in a log seat and you try to avoid obsticles(sp?) it would make it look more like the game (if there is one)

Chances are it is a game.. Jungle Cruise seats more than 1 person, and look! They only have one person there.

yes vmk staff do not work at home. it would not be smart to have them log in a public place imagine if they had visitors and they mess up all of vmk because the staff forgot to sign off? Ouch..

I think you can because well the sign it looks like the onee near the jungle safaria photo curise and maybe you can click on it a ride it. Just a guess.

hong kong doesn't have a haunted mansion yet... but the theory is adventurland.. unless the ghosts are in the future that is retro.... lol
