Ok. You all know that Carpet Magic and Frontierland are coming out later this month or later. People say it will be with Frontierland, and some say that it will be soon after. These maybe correct but I have heard that it's coming out next year, it will come out this year and soon, and I have heard of different colors.

Ok if you are here just to listen about colors, leave now, cause that isn't the thread. This is about the date and what time.

Now sence that is over... I have to say this. What is This year (2005) + Next year (2006)? Any idea? Why it's 2005 1/2, of course! No lol but still what is 2005 1/2? New Years! My idea is that it will come out on New Years for the rest of the night and come out later sometime.

Some of your information is wrong, so let me correct it.

It's Flying Carpet Magic, not Magic Carpet.
Yavn himself said it would be out after Frontierland.

And to add a bit more, although it hasn't got anything to do with your post..
The different colors is a rumor, I highly doubt they will be doing magic pins in different colors, makes no real sense. They could do a Blue Inferno or Green Inferno if they had the idea of different colors in mind.
