:xmas35: Just in time for the holiday season a brand new theme park is coming to VMK! Golden Adventure Land will be your one stop destination Fun!

:xmas22: Come welcome this new park with us on Dec 10th. It currently has 2 rides, 1 theater, 2 side activities, and who knows what esle you will find! Be sure to check out all of the rooms for some great fun!

Two Golden Lands

:xmas10: Opening up this season is not even a half of the park! However, it is going to be two rather large sections:

:pirate: The pirate infested docks at Bomb Bay will keep you saying "A pirates life for me" as you can battle it out on their ships in the side activity War Waters or you could take one of Captain Christmas's Tours to Christmas Island, a rather exotic Island off of the Coast of Bomb Bay. Good luck though, taking a pirates tour can be rather dangerous!

:lachen70: The cursed Green Witch Castle might just be charming enough to have you coming back for more. Inside the rotten old gates the Green Witch, herself, has been said to be brewing up a ride of her own for the brand new park! Can you trust to ride the Green Witch Coaster, or will your coaster end with some grave results?

:sorcerer8 Two lands isn't all, we can't forget to mention Main Street. With it's very strange Monorail System and it's ever changing links to the outer world main street could just possibly become the busiest player street in VMK!

Many Golden Events

:xmas24: The theme parks grand opening will consist of many events so be sure to join us on the 10th and 11th! Times have not been decided upon yet, so please check back before that date :) Some important events to watch for:

:xmas16: Rope Cutting Cerimony! Come join us as we are about to cut the ropes for the first time to enter our new theme park and get ready for a blast!
10th-11th, Between 10-12 EST, Main Street

:xmas33: A Parade on the Monorail- It's our very own parade! Be sure to watch for famous people such as the Green Witch, or Captain Disney as they travel down the monorail with a lot of funny people following them!
During the Event the monorail will shut down for the length of the event. Weekends, Around Noon EST, Main Street and Green Witch Castle Court Yard.

:xmas22: Character Greetings: Who all can you find at Golden Adventure Land? Every Day, Random Times, Random Places
Green Witch: This witch has a cursed castle in Golden Adventure Land, and an army of evil doers. Can you trust her?
Captain Disney: Captain Disney is the defender of Golden Adventure Land! Be sure to thank him for this spindid new park!
Captain Christmas: Can he really be a pirate? With his all around good attitude you'll be asking that!
Golden Adventure Team: The three members of this team are yochris, TinkMagic, and SweetDreamsGirl so be sure to watch out for them all dressed up and ready to explore in their own little world!
Grander Green Team: As Santa has his little helpers so does Captain Christmas. The Grander Green Team can be found wondering throughout the park in elf outfits, but it leads us to ask are they pirates or elves?
Note, these characters are fictious and if they remsemble any other characters are real life people it is merely a coinsidence

:xmas11: Talking Christmas Tree- Come meet the talking christmas tree at certain times of the day. It's new, it's inovative, it just might make your dreams come to. The talking Christmas Tree on Main Street will having you thinking twice about Disney's Devine! 10th-24th, Random Times, Main Street

:xmas12: Lighting Ceremony- Get ready to watch as your eyes will be dazzled when the lights go on for the first time in Main Street! Ending with a magical fireworks display. Nope, we won't even take lights lightly! 10th-24th, 7:00 EST, Main Street

:party-smi Count down the days to New Years: Come back between the 26th and 29th and have your cheers ready as we will count down the days to the Brand New Year and have yet another celebration each night! (We will close down before New Years Eve, because some of our staff are going on vacation) 26th-29th, 11:00 EST, Pirate Docks

:xmas5: That's right! Golden Adventure Land will Open the 10th until the 24th, and then reopen again times between the 26th and 29th! We hope to see you there, and we hope to see you when we reopen in the brand new year!


What can you do until then?
:xmas5: So you are that excited to welcome us to VMK? Well there are several things you could do! You could help us by viewing the section "Donations Are Accepted" below, or you could try and see if you can spy in on our construction. As we get closer to the opening date we will be planning more and more in the rooms. So you might be able to sneak in and catch some furnature being moved around, a part of the opening speech, or us practicing some other event! But most importantly don't forget to come to the grand opening, as it will be the best ever! :xmas24:

Donations Are Accepted
:xmas16: We really wouldn't like to mention it, but the truth is we can't do it all on our own :( It would be wonderful if we had a few people that would be willing to help the cause, and would make our operations move more smoothely. Donations isn't all about furnature, it would be nice for you to donate your time to our park also. We need lots of volunteers to maintain the maxium happiness a park can give off. Are you in for it?

The jobs we offer are all voluntary but fun
Mechanic: Did you ever want to be an engineer? Building is not the only part, we need you to make sure the rides work! You can ride them once daily and check up on them every now and then to make sure people are moving smoothly. If there are people blocking the track you should contact me.
Greeter: Do you just love to spread a little smile to everyone you meet? Maybe you should be a greeter! They stay in a room, welcome, and answer any questions a visitor might have.
Good Wizard: Good wizards will be like our cops! You should wander around the park and make sure that noone is abusing others or doing anything esle bad. If you do see someone contact me.
Characters: Wouldn't you love to grow up to be Goofy in Disney? Well we can't promise you that, but you could become a virtual mascot for Golden Adventure Land. You'd be like a greeter, but less of the question answering and more of the jokes and comics.

You can also help us out by renting a door on main street! To rent a spot you must provide the teleport and the item to pay for rent at the same time. Each time your time expires you can pay to extend it. Other wise you can come and find me for your teleporter back.
1 week- 100 credits worth of furniture
1 month- 250 credits worth of furniture
2 months- 450 credits worth of furniture

Donating furnature is another great way to speed our process along. What all do we need?
Teleporters, Crates, Tokyo Disney Lights, Haunted Mansion Decorations, Hippo Rugs, Chairs, Ropes, and pretty much anything esle.
Whether it's a little or a lot,
you're helping us out,
and we will be sure to mention you,
in some grander spot!

Some dates, events, and times may be subject to change

Most Needed Items:
Crates (Grey)
Candles of any color and shape
Food items (such as expidition supplies or frying pan)
Tables
Teleports
Swords in Stones

Hey, I have a question. I am working on a top secret attraction that is straight from Epcot, and, if you don't have any objections, do you think that I could link it to one of the lands when it is completed? If so, I will meet with you on VMK and give you the details. If not, I would settle for linking it to Main Street. Please respond.

Well you know how you can link rooms? Well we are building a huge area of linked rooms with things such as Rides (where you click on the chairs to move forward), Side Games (where you can participate to win prizes), Theaters (where you can watch us put on plays for the public), and many other things. This all will open next weekend with a lot of events to welcome the new park :)

I will pm you reekster with my answer :) I would say yes, but because we wish to be unlike no other park our rooms have a few rules which we would like all things that are to be fully the parks responsiblity that some things on main street do not have to follow. I haven't typed up these rules yet so I will just send you an outline and you can make up your mind as to where you would like it.

We will have to discuss it on VMK, as I am not allowed to send pms. I know where I would like to have it, but I will not give it away on here. I want it to be a surprise. ;) I am not on a lot at the moment, (I have EV Nova and AOE 3 fever ;)) but I will try to be on as much as possible. I am thinking I might make it kind of a special event thing, kind of like the VIP tour at WDW. When can we meet on VMK? I will show you my progress, and what I hope to accomplish. Btw, I could also use some financial assistance from anybodfy kind enough to donate. I will give you and your park design team a sneak peak and outline of what I hope to make it, but please don't tell anybody, since I don't want anybody to copy me. TTYL, reekster.

Haha, sounds like a good idea :) Just so you all know tonight Santa was visiting with some people in a very busy room :) After meeting with him a few people got special gifts thanks to WDWPrincess (Misses Santa.) I am not sure when esle her room will be open, but maybe she would care to tell us all :xmas33:

Yes you could do any of them wdwmagic :) Actually we just arose on a problem where we need some thinkers and inventers to help us :)

We want lights on main street, and arranged in some holiday fashion, anyone have any ideas as to what we can do for the first lighting?

That is a cool idea, we were actually thinking more like christmas tree or something in design, but we may go in favor of this one :) It all depends on what items we have ready at the time :)

Yea, I have yet worked out who is going to all be there, so yes we will have to get together some time this week to schedule something :)
