View Full Version : Help! I can't delete my messages! wdworld 07-18-2005, 08:40 PM Ever since I got this message, it wont let me delete any of my messages..does anybody know what to do? And to add insult to injury, the link doesn't even work; it doen't point to a live page. Funny thing is they showed up weeks after I got the original message. There they were again! :confused: None of the links work, first or second time and a contact to staff didn't get them removed. I'ver had it for a month now! MrGenie 07-19-2005, 04:09 PM I may be able to shed a little light on this issue. When these high score messages originally appeared, the links to the PDFs didn't work. Unfortunately, once you hit "Next" you would lose the message and link, and there was no way to get it back. Eventually the link was fixed, but you were out of luck if you didn't bookmark the broken link or save your message with the link. Presumably to address this situation, I think VMK made it so these messages don't delete anymore. That way, you don't lose the link. Simultaneously with this patch, they also sent messages to people who had achieved high scores before this promotion started. Here's the kicker though...I think the links are still broken for people fallilng into this last category. Jord 07-19-2005, 04:46 PM can anybody post the link? |
