it is because when VMK doesn't accept a name, you are given the chance to send in another name. I guess some people just leave it like that lol

all you have to do is use an unacceptable name. Each time put down something like CatKiller.

It could be someone who signed up once and could have had computer problems, been away from a computer for a while, or forgotten their password and just remembered it, thus the reason for the pins of no value.

I guess VMK really does keep status of people who sign on only 1 time and never play. Which reminds me, is there a way to "erase" a character???

that happened to me i got changed back into a guest becasue they made me change my name, it could be the same thing here!
